This past Sunday I was with my friend and we stopped in to uncle Ben’s for some beer. Lynda was there working. As soon as we walked in the door she started shouting about how people only tip a dollar and something about food. I was embarrassed I asked if she was talking about my friend or myself she said no but clearly it was definitely about us. She would not serve us but one beer and hang out at the other end of the bar. Not even to come over and check on us or see if we wanted anything else. This is a great place to hide away during the day for an afternoon beverage with decent prices. Parking can be a bit tricky, but this small bar is your quiet "average joes" that never disappoints.
