Fifi's Ice Cream & Sweets — Restaurant in City of Syracuse

I usually go here even though they are usually with a huge line or a good 20 minute wait time to get through to the window. Trust me its always worth the wait! I usually get different kinds of ice cream and each time is better than the last. I also wanted to say that if your complaining about their service, I'd like to help clear up some stuff as I used to work in fast food. The times shown verses the times they actually close is for good reasoning. If any of you guys remember going to college and working at the same time you'd know how drained you was and will be after working 8 plus hours plus rude customers and then the machines especially the ice cream ones are hard as hell to keep clean. So if you must complain complain about if they was actually doing something wrong like screwed up your order was physically rude or threatening or didn't give correct change or the place was dirty in witch probably you will not get because they are that good. If your rude they know how to be rude back just saying watch how you talk to people and maybe they won't be rude. Be mindful of these guys they work hard in impossible heat conditions with a crowded space and its constantly busy. So think about that first we are all human including the Ice cream workers. If I could give this place 0 stars I would have. We use to go here all the time too but this place is trash. The service sucks and the owner is just as bad as his counter girls. Paid 10 bucks for 2 flurries that looked like they were half eaten. When we asked for another new flurries and to talk to the owner the counter girl says he's busy (as I can see the man standing there doing nothing) and that they can't remake our flurries but can give us 2 dollars back. I couldn't believe it. After standing in their line for 35 minutes this is how it went down. We used to go here alot in the last few years and today being the beginning of the season we won't be going here anymore. Best part was after treating us rudely and having poor service on our way back to the car we passed a crowed of 8 ppl headed there and we showed and told them what just happened and they all left for friendlys instead. Word of mouth helps your business, treat your customers poorly and you will eventually see your business go down. Stay away from this place, over priced, rip off, poor customer service and the guy who is the owner is an old jerk. Take your money to other ice...

Another Eastwood Staple! warning Fifi's is always packed on hot summer nights especially during Little League Season. If you don't want to wait I suggest going else where. My kids love it, its convenient for a nice walk and we usually run into the Syracuse Fire Department 🚒 crew getting treats! After a long hot baseball or softball game, the kids always look forward to a treat from Fifi's. The non dairy options are great and they even have doggy friendly sundaes. Fun for the whole family. Just be ⚠️cautious if bringing a dog please make sure they're friendly and trained as it can be very busy and cause tension and embarrassment if your dog whines and barks uncontrollably while waiting. Also note for parents with small children...the ramp to the order window has steps on the other side so you will have to turn around back through the line of people if using a stroller and can be cumbersome with multiple children and hands full...
