Picked up dinner at Habibi’s Halal Gyro food truck. This truck is a perfect dinner take-out stop. Quick and easy ordering along with great service and a highly satisfying meal.
Located on Erie Blvd in the parking lot of Oasis Mediterranean Market, the truck is a can’t miss. The bright scrolling display that surrounds the top of the truck let’s you know you have found it.
The owner has brought his authentic Halal food business all the way from New York City where he runs many NYC style halal food trucks throughout the city.
These guys know their menu!!! I ordered the Chicken Plate. Comes with chicken, rice, pita slices, falafel, lettuce, tomato & pickles. The chicken and rice were seasoned perfectly. The chicken was cut finely but was not dry and the flavors really shined. I was asked if I would like “Red Sauce”, “White Sauce or both. I chose both. The red sauce had good amount of heat but wasn’t overbearing at all. The white sauce complimented and balanced the heat with some light flavors. I enjoyed the lettuce and pickles to the dish. They added a bit of crunch and sweetness. My next visit I will definitely order an extra side of the falafel. While the inside of the falafel had a nice fluffy texture; the outside was fried to a perfect crisp when you bite into it.
You can call or use one of many food delivery apps. Opened Tuesdays-Sundays 11:00am - 9:00pm. Great spot to stop for a late...

I want to express my disappointment regarding my recent visit to your establishment. After ordering two lamb dishes—one with fries and the other with rice—I found myself faced with an unsatisfactory experience.
First and foremost, the meat served was evidently not lamb, which is not only misleading but also unacceptable. As a customer, I expect to receive what I ordered, and the quality of ingredients is crucial for a satisfactory culinary experience.
Furthermore, I regret to emphasize that the service provided by the owner was extremely unpleasant. As a customer, I anticipate being treated with respect and courtesy, which unfortunately was not the case during my visit.
This experience has deeply disappointed me, and I cannot help but feel a sense of deception and fraud. As a consumer, I believe transparency and quality are essential elements for building trust in an establishment.
I am sharing this experience with you in the hope that measures will be taken to improve the quality of the food served and ensure a more pleasant customer service. However, I regret to inform you that, following this experience, I will not recommend your restaurant, and I will discourage my acquaintances...
Read moreHabibi food truck is parked outside in front of Oasis. I got the vegetarian falafel over rice with lettuce and tomato. There was even a grape leave packed inside, plenty of falafel balls, rice, (the really good stuff), and a white sauce and he asked if i wanted hot sauce (appreciated that!) and i said just a little, and it was the perfect amount. There were pita strips on top. It was all very fresh and delicious, and it was more than enough for a couple meals. Very reasonably priced too, $10.
I was also impressed that he changed gloves between handling meat and making my vegetarian food, and also when exchanging money. Very professional and I will definitely be back here!
I included a couple photos to give you an idea what it looked like. These were taken from me sampling it in my car in the parking lot of Trader Joe's up the road. The smell of the food was so tempting, I could not wait till I got home. lol oh and it looked and tasted much better than the photos show! :)
Make sure you go into OASIS grocery store too!...
