I decided to stop by this spot after my appointment downtown since it was only about a 10-minute walk away. The setup inside is really cute — I loved the decor and the overall vibe. They had music playing in the background, and there were so many different treats to choose from, including the trendy fruit-shaped desserts that I’ve been seeing all over social media. I didn’t try those yet, but I definitely plan to come back for them. This time, I ordered a Nutella croissant (warmed up) and a small iced mocha latte with brown sugar, caramel drizzle, and extra cold foam — it came to around $16, which I personally found a bit pricey compared to other local coffee shops I’ve tried around Syracuse. The croissant was really good though, especially warmed up — the Nutella melted perfectly and made it extra enjoyable. Now, the coffee was another story. I honestly didn’t enjoy it. It was way too strong for my taste, and the flavor overpowered everything that was added to it. Even after they kindly remade it for me, it still had the same overpowering taste. The staff was nice about it and willing to fix it, which I appreciated, but I realized the issue was more about the type of coffee they use — it just doesn’t blend well with the flavors. Also, I noticed they use a store-bought spray cold foam instead of making their own, which makes me feel like they’re still new to the coffee game. It would be nice if they spent some time testing out their drink recipes more to balance the flavors. Overall, I wouldn’t go back for the coffee, but I would return for the desserts — they look amazing, and I’m curious to try more of them next time. The atmosphere and presentation are definitely their strong points!

Everything here is top-notch, from the incredibly fresh ingredients to the deliciously crafted drinks and pastries. You can truly taste the quality in every sip and bite. The place is also spotless, cozy, and welcoming, with a chill vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. Staff was polite and helpful. If you’re looking for a clean, tasty, and relaxing spot to grab coffee or a light meal, this is it. Highly recommend checking it out, support local and treat yourself at the same time! Opening late was a plus.

A fantastic new addition to downtown Syracuse! This cafe caught my eye the moment I walked by it. Fresh Italian coffee that's rich and flavorful, a great selection of bakery items straight from Long Island and authentic bagels and crepes. The best part is they're open late, making it the perfect spot for students, professionals, or anyone looking for a cozy place to relax after hours. 5/5, definitely worth a visit-you'll want to come back again and again!

WORST café in Syracuse. Went on break from my job to come here. someone told me that a new place opened up near by, Biggest mistake of my life. Straight trash. Coffee tastes watered down and fake like it came off a supermarket shelf, I seriously think they buy their ingredients from the clearance aisle at Walmart, actually no, that would probably taste better. Food was disgusting, with flies buzzing around. They use the cheapest ingredients possible. Total rip-off, don’t even bother. And to TOP IT ALL OFF, I had to Wait around 15 minutes to order my coffee, because I guess the workers think this is their time to speed date I guess to hit on any girl trying to order some coffee and leave??!! Go to any other local cafe. Do not waste your time. I don’t know who approved of this. Also the vibe and people there was not...

Once we discovered Milano Bean Café, it became our daily morning stop during our family vacation to Syracuse. The coffee is excellent and imported from Italy, and the pastries are brought in weekly from Brooklyn. Absolutely fresh and delicious.

Sely, the manager, and the barista were consistently welcoming, friendly, and professional. You can tell they genuinely love what they do, and it shows in both the service and the atmosphere.

We recommended Milano to several people during our vacation and will absolutely return every time we are in Syracuse. Truly...
