MY CRAB SPOT — Restaurant in City of Syracuse

The front end staff [Asian female] was super cute and nice. She was so helpful. I wasn't sure what I wanted but knew i wanted a larger platter with extra crab legs. She helped me mix and match 2 combos for the best price instead of paying too much with "add-ons". We ordered 2 platters/boils, one baby spicy, the other medium spicy... both with juicey sauce. Food was so good. Seasoned to perfection. The medium sauce choked me up a bit... but it was perfect!! The rice, sausage and corn are what really did it for me... soaked and seasoned in that delicious sauce. My kids loved every bit of it. We even got free rice because we purchased $30. Egg fried rice was so darn good.... I ate the rice for breakfast again the next day. We will definitely be returning customers.

We didn't dine inside the establishment but it was very clean with enjoyable music playing. The service was good & fast.

The parking is limited street parking, but easily do-able.

My only suggestion is to closely watch your surroundings in that area and lock your car doors! Some random guy tried to get in my car with me as soon as I left out the establishment. Very creepy but luckily I had locked my doors the minute I got...

I’d give this place 10 stars if I could. I think we went at the perfect hour (around 3pm) of the day because we got a nice free parking spot very close to the restaurant. It was our first time there and we met JJ who’s the most friendliest and most welcoming host I’ve ever met. He helped with suggestions, took our order and got us drinks on the house which impressed me more about this place. Our order didn’t take long. The food was amazing! Taste was on point. Probably the best seafood place I’ve had the privilege of eating at. I don’t live in Syracuse but my daughter who was with me goes to school here and she added My Crab Spot at the top of her list for places to eat. Okay so, I got four lunch special combos… firstly, I was a little turned off by the appearance inside the restaurant and the girl at the counter wasn’t too friendly. I ordered a few lunch combos and it only took twenty minutes to prepare. When I received my food…I was a little disappointed about the amount of food. Once I got home and unloaded, it was MORE food than I realized. I told the lady I wanted it EXTREMELY spicy. Oh MY Goodness!! The flavor was SPECTACULAR!
