Came here on a Saturday around 6:30 for a birthday dinner. As expected for downtown it was quite crowded and there was a little wait, which was fine. Once we were seated, which was right by the door, we felt a cold breeze every time the door opened, so this was unfortunate. The waitress took about 5-10 minutes to even come get our drink order and when she came back, she forgot one drink. Then it took about 45-60 minutes for our food to arrive, which was surprising because we ordered simple items: boneless wings, chicken tenders, soup, burger (there were 4 of us). When the food finally arrived, I was shocked because it looked and tasted like the food had been forgotten about, left to get cold, then reheated in the microwave. My wings were dry and very small, I had a few but couldn’t eat more than that because they tasted old. When the waitress came around, she grimaced and asked us how our food was, like she could tell it was gross looking. That was the only time she came around until the check, which was about 45 more minutes later. She didn’t apologize at all for the long waits while we were actually waiting, but once it was time for us to pay (and tip her) she half-heartedly said “sorry for the wait tonight, thanks for being patient.” All in all it wasn’t a great experience. I probably won’t go there again, but if I do, and have a better experience, I will adjust my review.
Spoke with Jim several times before my family's reunion this year. And each time he was awesome, answering my questions, making suggestions on how they could best accommodate our large and rotating crowd. I have a large family who came in from PA, NJ, & MD for the SU game. I couldn't give a concrete number since some people were going to the game and others were coming and going throughout the day. He set us up in a large corner of the bar where my family could come and go and it was perfect. Our server, Justin, deserves a HUGE SHOUTOUT and a raise! He took such good care of us, making sure our plates and glasses were always full! Despite the large crowd, as people would leave he was so accommodating when they went to cash out. He never seemed overwhelmed, always smiling, laughing and just making sure we had a great time. And the food! We ordered a ton of stuff and everything we got was delicious! 100% recommend the tater kegs! The space was large enough with a great atmosphere for our large and fun loving crew and even free parking! After years of trying to find the perfect place for our reunion I think we found it and will...
Read moreI met my friend on a late Sunday afternoon. The bar area was busy with families from events, and some young children. I was able to scoot into a corner of bar seats waiting on my friend. A short wait for menus and to scour drink menu. I went with pomegranate cosmo, unfortunately it lacked presentation due to shortage of appropriate glassware. Server was apologetic, taste was pleasant but strong and lacking garnish. My friend just ordered a light draft and we ordered Reuben egg rolls to share. Best Reuben egg rolls I have had in the Cuse! Tons of tender corned beef, and just a hint of sauerkraut and Swiss served with thousands island dressing! I ordered an extra for take out for my Irish man at home and short rib tacos. Those did not keep well for take out, more meat and toppings would improve the continuity compared to tortillas. Service excellent, frequently checked upon for refills and food order. Prompt delivery and friendly service! Great place for meetups and sports. Many televisions great for sport events. Menu is simple and...
