Wheeler's Tavern Inc — Restaurant in City of Syracuse

Went to Wheeler's on a Friday with me and 25 family members from out of town. Spoke with the owner several times beforehand with regards to reservations and she was phenomenal! When we arrived we realized they had a more limited menu than expected. Which was a complete error on my part! Lisa and her staff were simply amazing and told us to let them know what we wanted and if they had it they would make it for us! And they did! 5 kiddos who did not want fried fish and fries (which were the best fries I've had in a long time! Hot, fresh, crispy and seasoned perfectly!) were suddenly offered buttered noodles, Mac n cheese, chicken tenders...we were so appreciative of the lengths they went to to ensure we all had what we wanted! We were placed in an area of the bar that could accommodate our large family and had a server assigned just to our crowd. Joe, our server, was also amazing, attentive and able to navigate our large crowd remembering who ordered what and when and not a single error. My family holds a mid Winter reunion every year and always try to find a place where we can visit and hang and catch up and Wheeler's was the perfect spot for it! Wheeler's will definitely be an annual tradition for us and honestly the staff, food, and price were well worth it. Can't recommend this...

Ate here for dinner on a Friday night. Although the menu is limited to what was up on the board - fish fry Friday, pork chop, mac and cheese, and various fired sides, I will be coming back! Wife had the fish - said it was the best she has ever had with a perfect, non-greasy crisp - and I had both the mac and cheese and pork chop with both being phenomenal. Great drinks, and a laid back crowd, which can be very difficult to find on Tipp Hill any night, let alone on a Friday. We will be definitely...

The chef was wonderful. He plated our salad for two without even asking.

The clams were cooked perfectly. Finished with garlic bread and creamy butter sauce.

My husband got thr burger and the chef brought out his own specialty sweet mango and honey mustard sauce.
