The Sanctuary — Restaurant in City of Utica

Love going here for the space, the patio, and the music. Prices would be my only complaint, but they're not too bad. They have an awesome smokers section outside either on an upper patio deck, or the ground, fenced in. 2 "dance" floors gives you 2 music choices, the upper one is usually new age country. Used to be a cool place when it opened, but the bouncers are out of control. I left a drink on the table playing pool, I was told once and took it off, only to have to same bounce aggressively freak out, knock my drink over and proceed to put his hands on me and graple myself and my friends to throw us outside. I was a paying patron and this guy thought it was amateur wrestling. So dissapoonted in the place and will not be going back to this...

It's a nice place. Parking is on the street and there's no cover. The last few times I've been here it's been quiet, which is a shame.

Drafts are six dollars, but their selection on hard liquor is a bit limited. There's plenty of screens for the sports fan. Above the first floor is a country themed...
