Nonna's Pizza — Restaurant in City of White Plains

Terrible customer service. I made an order online for one of their specialty pizzas, and through the portal, I removed some toppings and added some other toppings, I got a call where we confirmed the toppings to be removed, and the ones that I added, in the end, they delivered the wrong pizza (toppings were missing, and some I did not order were added). I proceeded to call to inform them of the mistake, and even after they chalked the mistake to "something being wrong with the website" which made no sense as they called to confirm the order, they did not want to do anything to correct the order.

To be honest, I was expecting the usual behavior when something like this happens, where the restaurant would send you the right order, instead they said that they could send the delivery person with the missing toppings... which is insane... what was I supposed to do? Bake the pizza again? I called out how this made no sense, but they did not want to hear it.

I would not recommend ordering from this business simply because God forbid they send you the wrong order, you would be...

No White Plains Resident Would Say This, But... this place must be better than the traditional hot-spot (Italian Pavilion). I was pumping gas at the BP station near by and smelled the aroma. I popped over and the pizza was phenomenal. The crust was light and crispy and it actually had flavor and the cheese actually was stringy and there was basil in the sauce. But what even got me more, was the workers there on Sunday morning who actually asked me how my day was going. That is what put this place #1 in White Plains on my list (after living here 20yrs). Unlike the former-#1, they were actually nice... they weren't talking about people and heckling like some of the goons at Italian Pavilion (not the owners though; the owners are such a dynamic duo). The employees seemed to know the other customers (who were maintenance workers it seemed) by a first name basis. The feeling was very much laid-back and truly a spot to just sit and make your day a little better with other hard-workers. If Italian Cooking is shared on the idea of a good meal with good company, then...

Nonna's has the very best food!! We have been eating here and taking out from them for over 10 years. I was referred to Nonna's from family and friends who have been long time customers as well. We are regular customers. Each and every time, the food is perfect and consistent! Every item is delicious and made with care. The portions are generous and the quality is superior! They use fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly. I can honestly say that with all the pizza I have had (and i have had pizza my entire life) Nonna's has the BEST pizza. Whether you have the round or the square, Nonna's is the top of the pizza game. There is something about the crust and sauce that is extraordinary.
