I’ve come to Guerrero’s three times now for their pina loca. Tonight my order was prepared in the back which I didn’t particularly care for because I’d much rather watch my creation being made in front of me. It took like what seemed forever but that was probably because I was starving for it. When the cashier rang me up and told me the total was $22.00, I was stunned. Not wanting to cause a commotion at the register I paid for it but not before questioning why it wasn’t the usual $15.00. Her English was limited so although I didn’t understand why I was paying a whole $7.00 extra I just paid and took my large pina loca out of the way of the other customers. Once outside in my car, paying $22 for a large fruit salad just didn’t sit well with me. As I sat in my car eating my treat I decided to go online to view their menu. I saw that the pina loca was priced at $16 and on the menu inside it was listed for $15, yet I was charged $22! I devoured a few more pieces of fruit while I waited for the store to empty out. Once cleared I called the store and asked for the price of the pina loca and confirmed it was $15. I questioned why I had just been charged $22 for mine. The gentleman stammered for answers but it was too late. The price had been confirmed and was advertised online and in the store for less. I advised the young man that I was right outside sitting in my car but I was coming inside to speak with him. The young man behind the counter who spoke with me was very rude and abrasive. With an attitude he demanded to know why I didn’t say more about it then. I advised that I did when I questioned the price but that I didn’t want to do all of that in front of the other customers. He then accused me of giving them an attitude. When I asked him how I gave them an attitude he said that when I questioned why it wasn’t $15. So, let me get this straight. He wanted me to say more at the register but simply asking a question about price was giving a problem? Huh??? I asked him why asking a question is giving attitude. If that were the case and I wanted to make a problem why wouldn’t I have done that in front of the customers? I chose to wait until the store cleared out. Do those seem like the actions of a person who is trying to give someone a problem? I didn’t appreciate being classified as a problem simply for asking a legitimate question about the inflated price of a product when it’s priced differently on two different menus. Businesses should honor the prices of the products/services posted online, in their stores or on their menus. How crooked and downright unprofessional for a business to expect you to pay more for a product/service than what they’ve listed it for. Then have the nerve to turn it around on the customer for merely questioning them. I won’t ever be returning to this establishment. And to think I was about to start getting me and my daughter’s crepes and bubble teas from here because they’re right down the street from me. They destroyed that and...
Read moreI dropped my drinks in the store because I was given a broken cup holder tray and one of the drinks was not placed right . When I asked if I can get my drinks replaced they told me no that I have to pay for the drinks again. I wasted $60+ and I showed them the tear that was on the tray . Did they care about it ? No . After going back and forth with the employees they only replaced one drink and told me I had to pay for the other drink that fell. I told them I wasted so much already and what the employee said “we waste too”. The drinks each are $9 the least they can do is replace them especially If one of the employees saw it happen and they saw the cup holder tray broken. All they told me was I was holding the tray wrong and they are not responsible for that . The employee that handed me the tray simply said “I told you to be careful when I gave you the tray” . Like come on it’s not like i purposely wanted to drop my drinks and it dropped the moment i picked it up from the counter I didn’t even make it close to the door . I understand if my drinks fell outside the store but it fell the moment i picked up the tray. They don’t care about their customers all they care about is money. So disappointed because I really loved this place And I use to go...
Read moreThe food was ok at best. Came here because I was told the Birria was good. It lacked the depth of flavor that Margaritas up the road from this spot has. They do use it in creative ways like a quesadilla, torta and ramen. I wouldn't recommend it though. I also had a gripe with the kids mozzarella my daughter ordered. They were greasy, without any marinara and not gooey like a mozzarella stick should had been. I asked for this dish to be taken back and was told that they wouldn't take it back and I either had to take the loss or pack it to take home. Most other places I've been to would have replaced it. There was only one server working on a Sunday and we waited 30 minutes after having fished our meals to receive our bill. After paying and leaving a cash tip on the table, I looked at my bill to see that 18% gratuity was automatically included. Apparently in the fine print of the menu there's a disclaimer that 18% gratuity will be automatically on all indoor dining. Places like this take away any need for good service, that's why we waited 30 minutes to check out and couldn't return unwanted food. Don't go to this place if you want service. They...
