Extremely Disappointed with Jersey Mike’s – Central Ave, Yonkers

As a longtime fan of Jersey Mike’s and a regular customer, I can confidently say this particular location on Central Avenue is by far the most disappointing in terms of service and professionalism.

On multiple occasions, the staff has failed to follow basic order instructions—whether it’s leaving off cheese, selecting the correct bread, or honoring paid add-ons. This isn’t just about inconvenience—it renders the food inedible for me, and that’s unacceptable when I’m spending my hard-earned money.

What made the situation worse was the manager, Joe, who instead of listening and offering to make things right, became argumentative and dismissive. He insisted that he personally made the sandwich “to perfection,” despite clear evidence that the order was incorrect. Whatever happened to “the customer is always right”?

To top it off, he said a refund would be processed for my most recent botched order—a promise that was never fulfilled.

Jersey Mike’s makes a great product, but unfortunately, the team at this location is incompetent and the management lacks the basic courtesy and accountability that customers deserve.

There's no group better than the Sunday night crew of workers at Jersey Mike's, consisting of the general manager and three workers. A group of smiling, helpful, courteous, and giving individuals made this experience unforgettable. When do you ever get freshly made tuna salad within minutes for a sandwich? What a great group of young professionals. This is exactly what north east Yonkers needs. This is a fantastic, clean, friendly, and fun place to enjoy sandwiches and submarine wedges. The service is great and we're serviced with a smile. The soda machine alone is worth the trip. Large, clean,and comfortable eating area and clean bathrooms too. All sandwiches are made to order and stacked with plenty of meats, cheeses,and condiments. The desserts are few but filled with flavor. The place is filled with people sunshine and casual spirit. Take the family or even a date. Prices do vary and can be reasonable to expensive. Get a combo...the owner is wonderful and GM is a professional. We can't ask for more. I've been going to the Jersey Mike's that's across from Kohl's on Central Park Avenue in Yonkers since it opened Richie the owner is very professional at a real people person is employees a lovely and very professional and we'll make your sandwich anyway you want if you don't want the sandwich they have wrap or you can have it in a bowl if you don't want any bread the sandwiches are fresh tasty and delicious sometimes when he makes the cookies he gives them out as free as a courtesy to the customers I love this Jersey Mike's if you get the free card you can get free sandwiches depending on the mini regular or giant size after so many points he has already smile when you come in and is very welcoming and his employees are as well so make sure to come and try the Jersey Mike's right across from Kohl's on Central Park Avenue in Yonkers you...
