I’ve been going to John’s since 1999 when I moved over to the Yonkers and Woodlawn area from my old neighborhood in the Bronx, 201st and Valentine Avenue. They have a great history of old school NY style pizza. Everything they serve is quality, from hot meals like chicken cutlet parmigiana, lasagna and eggplant. The Heroes are big and the rolls are also good to get if you don’t want the big hero. And their prices are very reasonable especially after the pandemic, they didn’t raise their prices very much like other pizza shops did. She didnt realize it was for specific days of the week and for students, so when she saw we didnt get the drink she asked "since the soda machine isnt working do we grab a drink from the fridge?" The male with brown hair came up to my mom with a snotty rude attitude. Instead of just asking what made her ask that, he just gave a straight attitude. It is more of a blend between Neapolitan and traditional New York City pizza crust. Sauce is phenomenal. Toppings, cheese, vegetables are extremely fresh and flavorful. Very high-quality food.
