I’m not one to leave reviews let alone a negative one. However - after visiting the shop twice this seems to be the only way to be heard. Make sure to ALWAYS press PRINT YOUR RECEIPT. Even with my receipt in her hand they accused me of not paying and said the receipt was not mine. The two ladies gaslit me TOGETHER and literally called me CRAZY. I asked if they had cameras and sarcastically they said "40 tenemos" (we have 40 cameras) so I asked for them to pull it up only for them to state someone else has to come in. I had to call my brother to come to the store and show his bank statement on his phone. AFTER pulling up the BANK STATEMENT ON HIS PHONE the two ladies started arguing amongst each other because of the mistake. I then asked to speak with the OWNER - also said I can call or come back to speak with the owner and view the 40 cameras they stated were pointing at me and the register. I asked who the owner was just for one of the ladies to they're the boss and there's no one else to speak with regarding the problem. I understand things happen and she could've simply forgot that SHE LITERALLY RUNG ME UP. but this was completely disrespectful and distasteful- I was genuinely hurt as I too work in customer service as a General Manager and would NEVER attempt to steal let alone BLAME A CUSTOMER FOR STEALING ICE CREAM WHILE HAVING MY RECEIPT IN HAND. BEWARE!!!!! God forbid I would have paid cash.

I walked in and noticed the ladies were very bubbly with customers so I was looking forward to this. Once I come up to the display of ice cream I notice her energy shifted. Regardless - I remained respectful because I respect my elders and was raised right. I have so much more to say and I still want to go view the cameras together. I hope Patrick (the actual co owner as I see on these reviews) reaches out to view the 40 cameras and lack of...

Grew up in the local area and saw this place going viral and even one claim of someone driving 2 hours just to get to this place. Don't know a single person who's traveled 2 hours to visit Yonkers of all places, but decided to give it a try. The area isn't the greatest. It's near the library/metro north station, so parking is hit or miss usually. Found paid meter parking near the train station and walked over. It's a very small shop with only 2 employees in there. It was crowded with little space to move and a line out the door. Inside looks to be somewhat decorated, but it's still dirty. A worker came in and out a few times to dispose of the ice cream tubs, which was really odd. Came in and decided to try their ice cream, where I was scolded by the worker that there's only one free sample per customer before I even got it. Not sure why there's a cap on free samples for trying out the ice creams, but whatever. Also decided to try out the chocolate chip cookie, but the worker stated that there was only one oven and the cookies take 13 minutes to cook. Decided to wait and was told I could receive the cookies currently being made, but another gentleman interjected correctly that he had already been waiting for over 10 minutes. Led to confusion and just decided to get an oatmeal raisin cookie instead to just get out of there. The cookie itself was hard and was probably in the oven longer than it needed to be. For what it's worth, the Dominican ice cream cake flavor was pretty good and I haven't been to another ice cream place that had a similar flavor. Even then though---I wouldn't go out of my way...

Honestly I liked this place at first but the service is not the best at all. I’d hate to write a bad review but I’ve been there about 3 times now and each time I’ve felt like it could’ve been more welcoming and inviting along with the staff. It’s a pretty small place and there isn’t enough space for more than 5 customers comfortably which isn’t exactly the problem. The problem is that when I went there recently like 2 days ago to get a scoop of ice cream, the 2 ladies there were not as helpful and had poor customer service. It was me and one other customer there and you’d think we’d be attended to right away since it wasn’t busy but it took a good 10 minutes to just get a scoop of ice cream. Once the lady attended me I asked about if the mini was $4.50 based on a small sign in the store and she said they don’t have mini in that case I double checked that the single scoop was $5.50 because I don’t know if they updated it and she told me that’s what it says up there ( pointing to the sign above her) It’s not the most rude answer but it was a bit unnecessary based on the fact that they haven’t updated or at least crossed out certain things on their menu in store so it’s not my fault for double checking. They still have bubble tea up when they don’t sell that until the summer time and they have signs up that don’t match what they do sell right now. It would’ve been a better review if the customer service was better and the prices matched the quality of service and products you get. I personally think the price for the ice cream isn’t worth what you get and the banana pudding doesn’t live up to the...

Ice cream lovers rejoice…what a treat to sample and indulge in Lost Borough’s unique flavors. The Yonkers Blackout was rich and dark…euphoria in a scoop. I’ll be back for the Bizcocho and the Messy Girl.

I had such a great experience at Lost Borough Ice Cream in Yonkers. I went with my family, who are visiting from the Dominican Republic, and since we’re all huge ice cream fans, I really wanted them to try something different, something that didn’t taste so mass-produced or overly processed. I was looking for quality, creativity, and flavor, and this spot delivered all of it. My best friend recommended Lost Borough and honestly, it did not disappoint. I had a waffle cone with the Bizcocho and Red Velvet flavors, and wow!! Both were so rich, creamy, and full of flavor, but not too sweet. The Banana Pudding too was a huge hit with my family, everyone was obsessed with it, and we were still talking about it. But the flavors weren’t the only highlight, the service was amazing. Diego and Taylor were both super patient and friendly, which I appreciated so much because we had to try some flavors before our final pick. Whether you’re local or just visiting, this place is definitely worth checking out. It’s everything you want from an ice cream shop, creative flavors, great quality, and genuinely kind people behind the counter. Can’t wait to go again!
