Ralph's Famous Italian Ices — Restaurant in City of Yonkers

Drove about 30 minutes to this establishment while visitings my sisters from out of town. Arrived a little before ten, a group of four. It being my first time I took about 5 minutes to go over the menu. My sister requested to try two flavors. While handing her the second sample, the server says “Just letting you know, it’s only two samples per group”. I was disappointed, being it was my first time and there was a lot to choose from. My sister asked “so they can’t try any?” And she said no. She told us they were closing in 3 minutes. The google maps shows the place being open until 11:30. Because of this, I felt rushed, I promptly ordered a basic flavor In fear of not liking the more unique ones. We then went to our car to eat our ice cream. We were there for about 15 minutes after receiving our order, in which over 5 cars came in and ordered, so I was confused as to why we were rushed. We were polite with the staff when they greeted us, I had my 7 year old sister with me. Very odd and disappointing interaction. My sister says she has gone with groups of friends before and never had this issue. Sad this was my experience. Ice...

I don't know where to begin...first when you call they don't greet you w the name of the company (the owner is even worse) my child had applied here to work for the summer and during the time of her waiting she kept calling and calling to find out her status...it is now sept/oct which The owner SCOTT ROSENBERG calls my child for an interview which my daughter got super excited (who wouldn't on their first job for a teenager!) ... he hired her to then tell her he will call her in two weeks for training....it has been 3 almost 4 weeks and I haven't heard from him at all....before that I spoke to him once so we can discuss the hours of my child availability and he sounds very careless, had no clue on who was doing training and so on....I'm just very unhappy on how he told my child one thing and now he just vanished...good luck to anyone who works here because even the girl who works there which I didn't catch her name was giving me details on how he is...very disappointing! Smile...

coming here ruined my whole night . i came here and asked for an Italian ice and a banana smoothie . i got the ice and was still waiting for my smoothie . i proceeded to pay and the girl and it came up about $18 . i thought it was odd that it was that much but didn’t question it. before i handed her my money i repeated again that i have a banana smoothie . i thought everything was fine until they came back with a banana split sundae . i said i asked for a banana smoothie and the girl looked so upset at me . i walked away and she asked me if i still wanted the smoothie and i said yes . then she asked me if i still wanted the banana sundae so i took it since i paid for it . the sundae started dripping all over the place as soon as she handed it to me . i waited for the smoothie and i was under the impression it was free but i guess that was my fault for assuming . i would have never took the sundae if i knew i had to also pay for the smoothie . overall just a bad...
