Gaisha's Place — Restaurant in Clanton

Used to love eating here, I just wish the hours they opened were a bit longer/later. Hopefully they'll start opening up more so I'll be able to enjoy their food more often. Edit to add?.... Idk who you are talking about, but i've not been able to order since the service has been down. Also no you didn't have to come back and say anything, id have probably changed it back one day. You don't always need to respond especially if it is just someone whose frustrated about being able to eat here. Arguing online because you don't like someone's review isn't the best 🫡 Geishas has to fix their online ordering. Literally has made it where i do not order from here anymore because of it not working for months and months now. Can use another option if the previous was too costly, but for some families online ordering is the only way they have to order sometimes or in our case a lot of the time. Also was told it was broken or yall were having issues with it when I had asked about it initially. So I have been waiting for it to be fixed this whole time. So yes I came back and changed the stars when I went to order and it still "wasnt working" but apparently yall just stopped it and we're never...

From the second I walked in I felt right at home. The staff was super friendly and hospitable. Genuine smiles and welcoming words from everyone. When I thought it couldn't get better, I was served up the most delicious and authentic southern food I may have ever eaten in my 66 years of life. Seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. I had the salmon croquette which was fantastic. Fried okra which my granny might have bowed down to. Green beans coudnt have been better. And a perfectly fried piece of corn bread which had to have been born in a cast iron skillet. Finished it all off with some apple and cinnamon concoction that almost made me cry it was so good. I going back this Sunday for brunch on the word of a friend who said the chicken and dressing is literally the best he's ever had. Cant go wrong...

I have heard alot of great things about this place. So I gave them a try. I ordered meatloaf collards oakra. Ok so it all came out hot witch is good. The meal also came with a slice of cake. I am very picky about meatloaf because not just anyone can make it. This was good except. It was overly salty like I ate 3/4 but really salty. Other then that it needed just a tad bit more of bell pepper and I think it would have been perfect. Oakra was great and the collards well they were good but had just alittle to much salt. They ran out of sweat tea and came right out to replace it. And everything else was great. Best sweat tea you'll find. I will definitely give them another chance and it'll probably be the same thing lol. So keep a check to see my update....
