We picked this place for our caffeine intake of the day because it had astonishing reviews! After having had their drinks, I can’t say that we were impressed. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee, and honestly, it was one of the worst Vietnamese coffees I have ever had. I am an avid coffee drinker; I truly enjoy a cup of coffee regardless of the ingredients or roast. However. Their Vietnamese coffee is way too concentrated. I’m not sure if they forgot to add milk or added only 0.000001 fl oz of it (look at the picture; it doesn’t even look like Vietnamese coffee!), but it was way too bitter and hard to drink. I had to add more milk to it so that I could tolerate it. This was after having 50% of the drink. And even after adding the milk, it still was not good. I was not able to finish my drink, sadly. It gave me a lot of energy for the day, though; that’s for sure, even though I only had half the cup. So, sadly, the Vietnamese coffee was a miss. I’ve seriously been waiting months for this business to open…and having the opportunity to finally try some boba yesterday did not disappoint! I have to avoid cow’s milk (lactose issues), so having the opportunity to still enjoy milk tea was an extra special moment for me. I tried the coconut milk tea with boba, and you can immediately tell that there has been some serious thought and time spent in crafting their drinks.
