Server was very attentive & polite chips & salsa were fresh everything seemed perfect until the food arrived the beans were microwave burnt as well as the rice some grains were hard due to over exposure of microwaves you would think on a Friday evening it would be fresh off the pot nice & fluffy. just getting started i orderd the Tierra y mar fajitas because the picture on the menu looked very appetizing lone behold My plate arrives very quickly ( heated by microwave ) no way was it cooked fresh in that amount of time the shrimp were the size you find in cup o noodles not what was on the picture they should put on picture enlarged to show texture lol the fajitas were flavorless worst I've ever tasted I immediately felt sick after a taco did not even dare to take another bite I'm not sure if I happen to come in on a bad day because I chose this place based on the 4.4 rating boy was I wrong. The coke had a soapy taste somewhat like pine sol my wife ordered the chile rellenos the egg batter was extremely deflated totally microwaved I'm Mexican so I know good Mexican food when I taste it. I would give a 1 star if it was based solely on the food but the service was really good so I gave them a 3 if the food tasted half decent it would have...
Read moreThe food is great. My problem is the server/owner guy. He is always there. I have eaten here probably close to 10+ times. I always order the "All you can eat for $10.50".
The owner(server guy), Sorry, I don't know his name, is rude EVERY SINGLE TIME to me, my friends or family when we come in. After eating there today, upon paying. This guy tells me you have to finish your food and not waste it. #1- I always eat my food, and never leave anything. But today I tried there chicken enchilada, and it was gross so I didnt finish it. I explained to him, I didnt like it, and it tasted bad. He told me then don't order it. My reply was, "Are we not allowed to try stuff we have never had?, how else would I know if it was good or not? So I told him, next time I will just order what I know is good and walked out. I don't think I will be coming back to this location ever again. The service stinks, and this man is rude to those who are white. I say this because after eating here 10 times or more, you can clearly see this man favors others over another. Im not a racist and I dont expect to be treated less than...
Read moreFor Valentine's Day, my wife and I decided to give this Casa Jimenez location a try instead of our usual one which is closer to our home. BOY! what a huge mistake. The food and the drinks were substandard by far. then adding insult to injury (laterally) while eating my salad, I began to choke and cough, frightening my wife & me as well. Imagine our shock & surprise when I was finally able to clear my throat and it was a rubberband that had been the source. My wife immediately confronted the older woman whom we assumed had been the manager, showed her the rubberband and explained what had happen only to have her look at us with a blank expression and say " oh, I Sorry." Nothing more. Just the bill. We were shocked and speechless to say the least. We weren't looking for a free meal. But, considering the mishap, if the situation was reversed, We would've gladly said "Im sorry, dont worry about a thing, your meal is on the house. And glad you're ok. It was a terrible mistake." And gain a happy customer. Instead, we'll never go back there again, and warn anyone, STAY AWAY, or eat at...
