Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Claremont

Stopped by and ordered a burrito bowl like I used to a few years back (I had stopped eating at Chipotle because I once sat down and before starting to eat a huge black insect crawled out of my food. Didn't make a scene and let the manager know calmly what happened. She gave me a gift card for less than my meal cost. Decided I was done with this place but its been years so I decided to try again).

When I said "burrito bowl" the young lady looked at me and said "you want a burrito or a bowl??" I said "a burrito bowl please". She shot me a dirty look and said "its a bowl or a burrito" so I asked "aren't they called burrito bowls?" Which they very much were but I guess I'm old and that's no longer the case. She let me know promptly that wasn't true with an attitude.

I get if calling it that was a little confusing but there was no need to push the subject or give me attitude over it. Plus they didn't put the guacamole I ordered in my bag which of course I didn't notice until I got home.

Once again done...

Take in mind that I went a little after 7 pm. And that a full like of 5 customers showed up after me. They did not have all the options of protein ready and were not organized. There were 2 employees (including the manager) just walking around the dining area. The girl that made my order didn't know how to use the cashier at all and had to call the manager. Which had difficulty processing my chipotle scans I had that day. And even after scanning all that he assumed that I was given my order without checking, I had to wait for him to notice I wasn't leaving without my order. Which was incomplete when he finally gave it to me.

Meanwhile they had people waiting 15 min if they were waiting to order steak. ( I changed my protein because of it)

Overall this location is not prepared at all. Specially to be dinner time. Do not...

To anyone have Chipotle, I believe it is just about the place to be like any other Chipotle. The food in general is just like any other, but I would like to just hope that the management can focus a bit more on the cleanliness of the place, and the consistency of the food being given.

I believe when someone knows what they are doing, there usually isn’t a problem. The last visit I had, the floor was wet (no one cleaned up the water, which is right where you order), and there was no spoons or forks where you grab the utensils. Then when I open my food, there was a bottom part of a romaine lettuce inside my bowl. So that is just what I mean, I love to have the convenience to have a location nearby here, but I am writing this I hopes that the experience can just be more on par from the other chipotles...
