On Sept 4, 2023 I experienced terrible customer service in this mcdonalds location. I waited in line for 40 minutes and burned a gallon of fuel waiting in the line of drive thru to be told my online order can not be made because their computer cannot see what I ordered. I offered to just tell them what I ordered and I was told that I would have to pay for it again and I would be reimbursed so I would have to pay twice.
Instead of offering a solution the girl at the drive thru was unapologetic so I spoke to the manager and he gave me many excuses as to why I cannot receive the order I paid for.
JOE, who is the manager was unapologetic and did not care that a loyal patron of this mcdonalds restaurant waited 40 minutes just to be told "too bad".
This location will not tell you if your order is canceled. They will allow you to order online and then tell you they can not complete your order when you arrive.
You will wait 40 minutes just to be told you need to pay again to receive your order. I was treated as if my wait time of 40 minutes is my problem and they will tell you anything for you to not receive your order.
My complaint to staff and management is the unreasonable wait times and the lack of courtesy by all of the staff. The way I was treated was awful and I will not be returning to this establishment.
I will also, in the next few days will contact corporate office and higher management to see if I am able to be reimbursed for the fuel I spent waiting in the drive thru and to notify them of this experience.
This mcdonald's location does not value its customers and literally wanted me to pay twice for an order that I already paid for.

Today I ordered through door dash because Iâm home sick with my kids who are also sick and I didnât feel like making breakfast so I ordered some from this location.. I got my order and was missing a McMuffin so I checked my order receipt to make sure I ordered what I thought I ordered and when I looked it was there so I called to tell them I didnât get it in the bag and this lady named Esmerelda gets on the phone with total attitude telling me she did the order herself and she put it in there... oooook but itâs not in there! So after a few mins of going back and fourth I told her that they gave me three extra hasbrowns so maybe someone thought one of those was the McMuffin and it got mixed up. This lady STILL has major attitude telling me she did it herself ok well did u realize then that YOU put extra hash browns instead of a McMuffin then? She was adamant that I was wrong even though I was starring at three extra hasbrowns. Anyway she tells me I can come get it so I went to go over there to get it walk in to this woman who was just totally miserable in life and she tells me AGAIN that she put the McMuffin in the bag.. so Iâm like ok you got me Lady I door dashed so I didnât have to leave my house BUT in my evil plan to get a free McMuffin ended up driving here AFTER I already door dashed and paid for it!!    Read moreI had a very upsetting experience at McDonaldâs Restaurant #19076 (860 S. Indian Hill Blvd, Claremont, CA) on June 7, 2025.
After placing our order at the kiosk, my boyfriend and I sat down to wait. While we were seated, an older male employee began mopping aggressively right under and around our chairs without any warning. The floor became very slippery, creating a clear safety hazard. When my boyfriend politely asked the employee to wait until we moved, the man walked away mumbling in Spanish.
A second employee soon approached. She didnât introduce herself but spoke both English and Spanish. When we explained our concern about the slippery floor and the other employeeâs behavior, she inaccurately told him in Spanish, âThey said youâre mopping too much,â which misrepresented what we said. Shockingly, he then repliedâloud enough for us to hearââIâm mopping so theyâll leave and stop loitering.â
We were paying customers with a receipt in hand. My boyfriend, who is bilingual, calmly clarified this and asked if our food could be brought to us due to the situation. The second employee rudely responded, âYour order will be ready when itâs ready,â and walked off.
Feeling uncomfortable and disrespected, my boyfriend left. I stayed and picked up our food about 7 minutes later, but due to the hostile treatment and growing concern over food safety, we ended up throwing the food away without eating.
This experience left us feeling deeply unwelcome and unsafe. I hope this incident is taken seriously and addressed by management.
