McDonald's — Restaurant in Claremont

Typically my favorite McDonald's. It's the one I've been going to ever since I was a child and now have a child that I take there. He absolutely loves the old tunnels that were there(not sure if they still are/are revised). We recently went through drive-thru. They ALWAYS cook the apple pies to my preferred degree. Chewable but slightly golden brown on the corners. I am however giving this 4/5 stars, because the fries we received were definitely the ones that had been sitting for a bit. They were so hard that I couldn't bite them and ended up throwing the rest out after trying, out of my love of them, like crazy to consume them in some way without chipping a tooth. 6 fries later, we gave up and the birds lucked out. They also were definitely not up to par on there salt content. Like they were a special batch that they were pawning the leftovers to just to get rid of.... deeply saddened...McDonald's is one of my favorites, especially this location. It is what it is. My double quarter pounder was SO greasy, that it not only leaked through both buns, into and through it's container, AND the bag, which it was at the VERY bottom. Meaning if we had carried that home from the car to the house, we probably would have lost the rest of our food. I actually had to wash my hands afterwards from the grease, too. Typically a napkin covers it, but not with that particular deathwish of a burger. Should have taken a picture.... Other than this last time, they do normally get the orders accurate, the fries are normally piping hot and salty, and the customer service is quite friendly and nice. Accidentally ordered on the mobile app when the lobby was closed, awkwardly walked up to the drive through and tried to talk to someone, manager opened the back door and yelled at me to get out of the way, (in her defense it was probably 30/40 feet away from where I was standing) I walked out of the way and yelled back that I accidentally ordered on the app and asked if I went to the parking lot if someone could just bring me my food. Which apparently they couldn't do because it was a "danger to the employees" there was construction going on (which is why the lobby was closed, but there wasn't anything in front of the doors. In fact I saw 2 employees walk across the "construction area" and into the lobby as they were changing shifts) I understand it's difficult to understand why a 16 year old is getting McDonald's at 12:30 but I can't exactly explain that I graduated early and am working full time, but she spoke to me in a way that prompted a young adult male in a Prius to wave me over and say "if you're comfortable I'll come back around and take you through the drive through." Which is what he did, the kid running the cashier called my mobile order at the window and they were super confused. Long story short the manager gave me my food and watched me get out of the car and walk away. It was a frustrating and difficult situation that could have been avoided by not yelling across the drive thru at a 16 year old kid that he's stupid because the lobby has been closed for 3 weeks and will have to call corporate to get his money back. This must be the one in Newport NH but not sure if so I don't like this place be cause every time I go there lately they don't get my order right, and they always always pull us, and when they bring the food out they generally have some one that has no idea what there doing or have any clue what order goes where. We actually jus recently went there on Friday January 27th around 2 I think it was maybe earlier than that and it didn't seem busy at all in the drive thru, we ordered 2 Quarter Pounders with cheese 2/5$ deal and I also ordered my daughter a 6 piece happy meal with apple slices sweet and sour sauce with a small vanilla milk shake and a gogurt on the side cause my daughter likes having the fries apple slices nuggets toy sauce and gogurt my total came to over 12 dollars and I was like wow that's crazy for the 2/5 deal and a happy meal but we paid went to the 2nd window and was pulled fine I get it and we didn't wait long at all after they pulled us about maybe 5 10 mins, the young lady came out with our happy meal and a bag with the 2 quarter pounders nothing else in the bag, I opened up the happy meal and all that was in there was a 6 piece fries and a toy nothing else so I had to go back in for my gogurt that I got charged 50 cents for and my Apple's and my suace, so that's why I can't stand going to the one in Newport and no that wasn't my first time going to the one but I def will say its my last and the reasoning why we stopped going there and taking the extra mile or so to go to Claremont better service and the accuracy is...
