This will probably be kinda harsh. I ordered the Chimichanga and specifically requested no vegetables in the chimichanga, even though the description didn't mention any. When I got it I immediately noticed that the refried beans looked very light colored and generic. My first bite confirmed it. They tasted as if they came from a can and was then watered down, almost runny. The rice was fine I guess, nothing special. I was excited for the chimichango because it looked great. Good size, lightly toasted, and covered in queso. As soon as I cut into it though, what looked mostly like greasy water ran out. "Lightly toasted" was generous as I learned that the inside was just soggy and held no real structure. Each fork strike was like cutting through wet bread. The beef inside was cut to pea size pieces and was either unseasoned or very lightly seasoned, it was hard to tell. On top of everything, the chimichanga had onions and tomato bits in it. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because the service was great. Our waiter was quick, punctual, and polite. I hope he finds a great place to work when this place closes down in...
Read moreI rather enjoyed myself I was comfortable when I walked through the door the smell was super of lunch in the air smells fantastic we were greeted by friendly staff just a few steps in the door. Not pushy or running over(in your face, so to speak)but with warm smiles and friendly greetings while still engaging with the customers already there. It was lunchtime and about half capacity so it was very calming, and relaxing. We picked a table the service had impeccable timing. We were settling in. As we were seating ourselves one smoothly see if ice water for anyone, or rather drinks(one of my favorite reasons to choose to eat Mexican food đ„ and guacamole). And there guacamole was delightful, some of the best I ever had. Same with the đ§ strawberry Margarita's. OMG by the pitcher. Should I say I caramba, lol. So delicious and whoa so potent. Not gaggy. Perfect blend. I wasn't driving of course. The best strawberry Margarita's ever. Then the food. Oh, it was Great. All together it was grand. Definitely five full stars...
Read moreI wanted to share my recent experience at your Claremore, OK location. Unfortunately, my visit left much to be desired.
Upon arriving yesterday, I found the service to be subpar. The fajita quesadilla I ordered was lacking in cheese, prompting us to check if there was any inside. Additionally, the flautas seemed to contain chicken typically used for chicken tacos, accompanied by onions and peppers. The Horchata lacked flavor, and when we requested an exchange, the waiter avoided us for the remainder of our time.
Another issue arose when someone else brought our food but failed to provide any silverware. The staff was not particularly friendly, and I had to approach someone to request a table for four. To add to the disappointment, my bistek ranchero consisted of a piece of meat with sauce merely splattered on it.
I had heard mixed reviews about your restaurant, but being in the area, I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations, both in terms of service and...
