Walmart has an useful phone app for customers going to get their store pick up items. When you pull into their parking lot, a notification pops up giving you the option to check-in before going inside. I arrived at this store on 12/13 at 9:55 pm and used the app to check-in as I was walking towards the entrance. I immediately received a notice on the app that read "an associate is now preparing your items." However, when I walked up to the customer service area, I noticed there were no employees present and the all of the lights were turned off. I asked a nearby associate why it was already closed when it was not yet 10 pm. I followed the associate to where Selina, the Sales Manager, was standing at the front registers. She asked Selina if the customer service area was closed. She wouldn't even look up to make any eye contact, but instead very rudely said it was closed.
In a non confrontational tone, I asked her why the department was already closed when I walked in beforehand. She told me that if there is no one waiting in line, they close the department early. I then showed her on the app where it said an associate was preparing my item. The rude behavior just continued. She rolled her eyes, became defensive, and said she knew nothing about this app or the option of checking in. I'm pretty surprised that a Sales Manager has no knowledge of a tool that is useful for both the consumers and the employees. I told her my item was already paid for and I just wanted to pick it up. With another eye roll she said there was nothing to be done about it. I asked to speak with the manager on duty, who she called. When she got off the phone she told me that he was in a meeting for at least another 15 minutes or more, and therefore my only two options were to come back in the morning if I wished to speak with the store manager or wait until his meeting was finished. I told her I would wait. I shopped around for a few minutes and then made my way back to the registers. The meeting lasted longer than I was originally told, so I stood in front of the registers and waited.
I am appalled by the amount of attitude I received from Selina. It was completely unwarranted. My attitude was never negative towards her. I simply questioned why the department was closed before its posted time and how no one was aware of the app, especially a manager. Even as I waited for the manager on duty she would walk by and give me the dirtiest looks. When she came by to tell me that the manager was on the way, she didn't even stop and make eye contact with me. She just strolled right by me and muttered "he's coming."
A few moments later I was greeted by the manager. I told him the situation, how Selina acted towards me, showed him the app, and without hesitation went and collected my item. That entire ordeal could have easily been avoided if it was handled properly to begin with. Instead, I was treated like I had done something wrong by one individual. Plus I was in the store from 9:55pm until 11:45pm just to pick up one item that I had already purchased on...

However I was there Yesterday the day before New Yearās Eve and was in desperate need of a receipt that was purchased with my Company Business Credit card. I was being audited that day and with the transition from moving from leasing office to the model temporarily as the leasing office I was missing several receipts but found them all except 1. I went to Walmart to get a copy and of course I was told by the customer service associate she could not give me a copy but I can search it on my Walmart mobile app but of course I had deleted mine because Iām not that fond of Walmart. āSorryā. However I asked to speak with a Manager and she called one up for me to speak with. At the time the Manager was about to approach me she was currently dealing with a child who had lost their parents in the store so she was dealing with that and look like other issues as well.I felt bad even asking her about the receipt but I was desperate. That $24 lost receipt would cause a full desk audit and didnāt want to deal with that. Soo the Manager asked if I knew what register I had went to to purchase the $24 items and I said I didnāt know. Soo she asked for my information and the information for the receipt and she would look for it that evening or in the morning because she was the only manager on duty and she could not do it then. I understood her plight although I was desperate but I went back to the office and found the receipt. However I received a call from Marva I think thatās her name at about 8 pm to try to help find the receipt for me. I was stunned that she even called back. People these days donāt care about no one but themselves however she never forgot although it was earlier in the day I had spoken with her. I am big on customer service and I feel like Marva should be commended for going over and beyond for her customer. I do hope the store Manager see this review and acknowledge her. I tried calling the store to speak with the Manager but no one answered. I would like to say thanks Marva and May you receive blessings from being a kind person....

I called the store for 3 days straight before someone could have answered the phone. Wen I finally got through , I ask to speak to the store manager which is Marvin . To express the type of experience I encountered while shopping at Walmart. I was told from two people that the manager will call me back . I express I needed some to verify my order because I have. Feeling she will mess my order up . So said so done
I Never got a call back .I went to the store on Sunday February 6 . My order was not scheduled to be picked up until yesterday feb 11. I order a 3 tier cake and will never be shopping her again
Wen I went to pick my order of . The order was completely mess up . My daughter ended up not having a cake I order for days in advance. The managers really tried to help get so Some else to bake the cake But they had no luck every one was out . I ended up refunding me for me . To me we are going to tried other stores to see just give me your number , I just knew right their it was bs Soon as I left to go finish shopping for my daughter birthday party . Not even 10 minutes good they call the say
They are sorry but no luck . I said did you try Costco he said I will n call you back . Itās the day after still no call back .
Then really did try to help fix the situation But played me at the end . My daughter had to get basic ice cream cake
These people made me cry , I couldnāt sleep because it put me in a depression state . The cupcakes tasted horrible my kids didnāt enjoy the cupcake
They need corp to fix this situation And will express what happen to me there .
I will no longer be shopping here because things are definitely not under control and itās all fun and games for them ..
