Do not patronize this place, they racially profiled me today. I (Black female Accounting/Audit Professional) walked in to wash my hands and use the restroom before placing my order while on my lunch break as I do at every restaurant I enter. As I proceeded to the restroom, the owner or manager (Asian female), quickly walked towards me and said “this restroom is for customers only.” I replied to her “I am a customer, why would you say that to me?” She stated “ The cashier (black female) told her to stop me from using the bathroom.” I asked the cashier “ Why would you tell her that?” The cashier stated “ Because the bathroom is for customers.” I stated to both of them in a reasonable time as other “customers” of different racial backgrounds looked on, “Why would you assume I’m not a customer? If I walked in then obviously I am a customer that has a right to wash my hands before ordering. Do not assume I am not a customer but ask me instead of telling me I can’t use the restroom. And because you assumed, not only do I not want to use your restroom (bc the place was filthy the further I observed, I would not dare purchase anything from your business due to the racial profiling.” Overall, businesses like this do not care about the customers like myself that patronize these places. The location of this restaurant is in a predominately black neighborhood which I happened to be passing through to eat. I’ve seen the same restaurant chains in predominately white neighborhoods that do not have their bathrooms locked or harass customers as soon as they walk in. Thankfully Panda Express was right next door. They had a cleaner restaurant, bathroom, and the food was delicious by the way. No need to argue or try to be respected by certain people, just refuse to make them more money and buy elsewhere.

Today was my last time patronizing this location. Every encounter I’ve had with the woman owner has been marked by rudeness, racism, unprofessionalism, and a complete lack of basic courtesy. Today, I calmly expressed that her attitude toward customers is consistently poor and that all patrons deserve to be treated with respect. In response, she denied me service, called me a “Black B” and told me to leave her store—all while standing there with her tongue out in a mocking, childish manner. I am deeply hurt and appalled by this experience. No paying customer deserves this kind of treatment, especially within the Black community that businesses like this rely on for support. I thank God for grace and self-control, and I believe that the energy she puts into the world will eventually return to her. I will never return to this location again and strongly urge others to be aware of how this establishment treats its customers. A business that shows such blatant disrespect for the very people who support it does not deserve our patronage.

I'm not a person who complains much when it comes to my choices in food establishments. Because typically I already know what to expect. However being a hot wing spot connoisseur, I kinda know when things aren't adding up with cost vs quantity and or quality of what I'm getting. The wings I got we're the smallest wings I have had in a long time from an established restaurant. Which means either they had been sitting around on the fryer for awhile or they just were small to begin with. Either way almost $20 for 12 Lemon Pepper wings that looked like miniature baby wings at best is a bit much to think I would want to ever order from there again. With food costs being as high as they are these days, you would think they would at least give you a few extra pieces to try and make you think the price was worth ordering them. However that wasn't what I got so I'm expressing my displeasure, as anyone should who got an order that looked like this one from AD on N Hairston.

Never again! Last night, I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I received the wrong order and went back to the counter to complain. The lady at the register admitted that the guy who made my order had made a mistake but When I asked if they could remake my Philly cheesesteak, she told me no . She said I should’ve looked at it before leaving, so she couldn’t help me. I explained that I just got off work after a 12 hr shift and was tired so I had only glanced at the wigs and fries to add seasoning salt to the fries, but not the Philly because I assumed it was right. However My Philly had lettuce and tomatoes on it. I was shocked that someone would even put lettuce and tomatoes on a Philly cheesesteak like who does that? I’ve been coming to this location for years and never had any problems before. The two ladies there were extremely rude and nonchalant. When I asked the lady at the register to get someone else to help me,She called the other lady’s name, but she shouted back, “I don’t know anything!” and continued to sweep the floor, completely ignoring my concerns. My family has been going to this restaurant for years, but this experience has ruined our relationship with them. We will never return after this terrible service. Like how do you admit to me that they were at fault for my Philly being wrong but deny my request of getting it remade. I didn’t even ask for my money back I just wanted it to be made the correct way. Terrible...

Was everyone reading this nothing but love money and blessings however, I would like to make a very hard complaint and I’m not finished with justice for you. I’ve been working in this area for a minute, but I purposely do not come to this American deli based off of the cashier that was just on her lunch break in the lobby, screaming at the little young girl that was at a register. The line was all the way back to where she was sitting now having her lunch and she is gonna have the audacity to tell me as the customer Because I asked for black olives again she’s sitting in the lobby. I’m speaking to the nice young lady at the register tell her we ain’t got all that shit. I politely walked out of this establishment now I will never return now being the manager at the place. I work it down the street I would never ever do cable with y’all. OK I’m gonna do my best to make sure y’all practice decrease until y’all get rid of workers that I’m gonna be so negative just ringing up people food all day Girl get you another position or put a smile on your face every time I come down you’re like that I literally would’ve stood in line for three hours for anybody else...
