They need some real help at this store, the food is not cooked or something bc everyone keeps getting sick off the food, it is not clean, there will be hair in your burger if you don't pay attention and the chicken bites and fries will taste like they dropped it on the floor and put it in the box anyway, and the service is horrible, we sat in the drive thru line waiting to order for about 15 minutes and there was only 1 car ahead of us (I took someone there bc I'll never spend my money here ever again) and the guy that I took here keep saying "hello" into the speaker to get the young lady to take his order or at least acknowledge that someone was at the speaker. The employees walkmaround like they are at home, no one has their hair or dress wrapped up except that young lady who is very friendly, she should be the manager bc she is the only one that knows what she is doing and how to treat ppl, the light skinned light brown girl, everyone else walks around like they are home with their clothes hanging off their assss shirts not tucked in, nothing, just jump out of bed, put your clothes on and go, this place needs a whole new crew besides that bright skinned girl, everyone else need to be retrained or something but this place is horrible and I used to love checkers food. I have 4 kids and 2 extra kids and we used to eat at checkers all the time, not here, my money would never go here ever again. And the young man that I brought here said he got sick off their food twice and the only reason he went there and was trying them out was bc it was black ppl working there and he was trying to support our own and give them one more chance, not me hell nah, I'll continue to go to chick fil a and burgerking hell even McDonalds and I can't stand McDonalds nasty food but not...

The first problem started with just ordering the food, the employees didn’t seem prepared to serve their customers. We ordered (2) chili dog combos, (1), 2 double checker cheeseburgers for $6. (2) Big Bufords, and (1), 2 for $4 checker cheeseburger. We got (2) fish sandwiches (that we did not ask for, but were charged for) we were short changed (1) of the 2 double checker cheeseburgers, and they didn’t even give us straws. Luckily, we checked our food before driving home, so we circle back and let them know. Completely Unprofessional. The employees seemed to lack all training, and that does include the manger, to whom, we explained the issue. She closed the window; with us still talking, she didn’t even seem to care. The manger went on to say that they couldn’t provide our chili dogs because they didn’t have the proper containment, a problem that we’d already been aware of, the cashier previously told us that she’d have to wrap them, we were fine with that. However, we were not fine with being charged for something we didn’t ask for. ie the fish sandwiches. Or the blatant disregard for our problem. Nevertheless, we cooperated and took the refund for the fish sandwiches, accepted that we wouldn’t be getting her children the chili dogs, and would have to get something else. So we did, get something else. The drive in line was too long at this point, so I got out, and did the the order outside.(1) 2 checkers cheeseburgers for $4, and (1) 2 double checker cheeseburgers for $6. My total was $10.80. Read moreI visited this location on 11/16 at night. I went to the drive thru and ordered a number 1 and number 2. The cashier never verified my order, she just asked me the drinks and gave me a total. I waited about 15 mins to get my food. When the cashier came to the window I was not greeted, she just reached her hand out and wanted my money. There were a couple of cars behind me and I could feel that they too were impatient. When I got home, I realized that the cashier rung me up for a medium order, not regular like I assumed. So I called the complaint number so that the store manager could know of this issue, as it has happened to other people.
So the store manager, Natoya, calls me back and starts giving me her employees job description. She said that she was the Manager on Duty and she knew that her employees follow the book. She told me that she could not give me a free combo, I never requested or required one.
As I tried to explain to her that I was upset about the bad customer service, she kept interrupting me and started talking over me. I told her that it was not about the money, it was about the basic principles of giving customers options and good customer service. Then she tried to get rude and stated that she was on Duty and she know that her employee asked everyone. I told her that our conversation was getting nowhere and I would go higher. She then replied, "Do what you gotta do!" Then she hung up on me.
