Kita's Kitchen Soulfood & Sandwiches — Restaurant in Clawson

I was excited to try out the newest food in town and Kita's did not disappoint! The menu has a great selection but small enough that you know you'll get guaranteed expertise and quality. The staff were very welcoming and you can tell they are passionate about working there and bring the heart to the business.

The food definitely brings the soul that they proudly boast. The catfish is bursting with flavor with a crisp exterior and is fried perfectly with a delicate interior. The staff was kind enough to give me a sample of The BIG Daddy sub, that gives you the punch and zest you expect out of an italian sub with generous amount of meat. I also received a sample of their peach cobbler that is a great treat for anybody with a sweet tooth. The cinnamin gives it just the right amount kick! Lastly I had a side of gumbo that was surprisingly mild in spice, but definitely made up for it in flavor.

Overall I'm very excited the beginning for Kita's Kitchen's journey in Clawson! The staff are so friendly and the food is going to be something I'll be craving consistently.
