Tubby's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Clawson

I ordered a steak sub from the tubbys location in Royal Oak online this evening. I wasn't sure if I could pick it up through the drive thru or if I had to come in. It was absolutely impossible to understand what the reply was from whoever's was manning the drive thru. But I thought they said come to the front. So I get out of line and park and go to the front doors. They are all locked. I then had no choice but to get back in the drive thru line. I arrived 10 minutes before my order was to be ready and due to the now very long line I received my food 15 minutes after. I was concerned if my sub would even be hot but was assured it was. It is 82 outside but i drove home with no air conditioning and windows up to preserve what heat it might have left. Shouldn't have bothered. Got home and it was ice cold. This was a treat for me to get one of these subs but...

I was looking for a Tubbys and we thought we had found one and we did but the information that is provided to Google is not correct. Tubbys inside this station closes at 10pm. When I arrived to see it was closed I notefide the gentleman at the counter that it stated on Google maps that Tubbys was open and that he should fix the time because that is the time the store close not Tubbys. He was very rude. I was upset because I was from out of town and on my way back home and went out my way to stop and to find out the time is wrong and they don't like to answer there phone. So I will say this is not good for Tubbys if they are not owned by the same person. I gave 2 ☆ because the information and the rudeness I got from the store. Not because of Tubbys itself but because of the gentleman...

I wish I could put -1 * but they don't give me the opportunity. The one gal is an absolute sweetheart but I've gotten more lettuce, tomatoes than meat in my subs so I gave them another chance to make it right, BIG mistake, how can two subs and two poppers come out to over $30 ? I still tip the gal in there because I know it's not HER fault, they need to learn how to put MEAT in the sandwiches.. IM ABSOLUTELY 💯 DONE WITH THIS PARTICULAR VENUE... Third time is supposed to be a charm, "NOT" Great deal Though $3.99 for 4 Burnt Deep Fried Mushrooms Steak and Cheese Sub was so good but why did it Remind me of the 80's Commercial "Where's The Beef"?...
