The food itself is great most of the time. Sometimes not much of a topping you ordered etc. but hey it happens, I don't expect perfection every time. The brick and mortar location service is good and the atmosphere isn't to shabby. However the call center they have working for them to take orders is extremely unprofessional.
One time I had a guy answer the phone then leave me on hold for 2 minutes while he was clearly playing Call of Duty and his son was yelling at him"DAD! DAD! You have a call!" to which he replied "Shut up Idc I'm playing the game" So I hung up and called again to get someone different. So they aren't even being supervised and have sensitive information they can annotate apparently.
The other times I call it's generally an extremely rude service even though I try my best to be polite and respectful to all human beings. And the last time I ordered over the phone my credit card information was stolen and they decided to go on a 1200$+ shopping spree at Walmart 4 or 5 states away.
How do I know it was this employee at this location? Because my wife also used her card at this location and in the same week had a 700$ shopping spree at the same Walmart. Fortunately our banks took care of it and I called to complain to the Supervisor there and make her aware she has employees attempting theft and fraud. I also left a message and never heard anything back from her. Needless to say if I order here now it's always online. No more dealing with that non sense.
Overall the people who work in the actual store do a pretty good job and my delivery guy is awesome, I usually have the same guy every time and I try my best to tip as much as I can he is usually pretty quick and very nice when my kids say hello etc. My kids get extremely excited when they see him and start yelling pizza...
Read moreI remember when my dad would go visit my grandma in Ohio, and would fly home with 4 Cassano pizzas for us in California. And every time we'd come to Dayton, we'd head to Cassanos. I always claimed my favorite pizza was Cassano. Their pizza crust was so delicious, and a bit of crunch to it, not found in other pizzas. I'm a grown up now, and my dad passed away, and every time I make it to Ohio, I order a Cassanos pizza. The last few times I've come to Ohio, I noticed that the pizza wasn't crunching like I was used to, and I chalked it up to maybe somebody cut corners. Till this May, 2024, I came to visit for Mothers day. I called to order pizza, and I asked if they could use extra cornmeal on my crust and I was informed that THEY DON'T USE IT ANY MORE!! Whyyyyy????? That corn meal crust set your pizza apart and put it in a class by itself. I would love if you'd bring it back, as I'm sure lots of others would too.. Lots of my relatives don't eat at Cassanos anymore for that reason. The pizza is still good, but doesn't have that extra oomph that the...
Read moreOk, So heres the story. I ordered food at 10:15 pm was quoted 45-60 minute delivery time. At 11:30 i called to see where my order was an i was told the driver had been out for 20 minutes and it would be here soon. At midnight it still had not arrived so i called again and was told the driver was here, knocked on my door, waited 5 min then left. DRIVER WAS NOT HERE!! I was studying in my living room with 3 dogs and the tv off. if someone had knocked on the door we would have known, furthermore i also have a doorbell with an illuminated ring around the button. Doorbell never rang either. They said the driver was still out and they're not sure what happened he could have gone to the wrong door but i live in a house with the address on the mailbox. Its very difficult to miss. Now its after midnight, family is hungry and its too late to order from any place else. So i asked, since the driver is still out if he could come back and make sure he's at the right house this time and they said no were closed. Extremely...
