During my recent visit to this breakfast establishment, I had an experience that I found quite disappointing. I was looking for a good spot to enjoy breakfast with my family, but unfortunately, the outcome was not what I had hoped for. Upon reviewing the menu, I noticed that the prices were not matching to the total bill. I ended up paying nearly $70 for just three plates of food, which felt unreasonable given the portions served. Additionally, the environment was quite overwhelming due to the presence of extensive political memorabilia and a TV broadcasting FOX News, which detracted from the overall dining experience. The noise level in the small venue was high, making it difficult to have a conversation. Furthermore, the wait time for our food was longer than anticipated, considering we were only ordering breakfast items. I personally ordered French toast, which did not meet my expectations, even though the server had recommended it as their favorite dish. Overall, based on this experience, I would suggest potential diners consider other options for breakfast, as this particular establishment did not provide a satisfactory experience.

I stumbled upon this wonderful breakfast spot during my visit, and I must say, it's a gem. The menu not only offers delicious homestyle cooking, but it also includes some Greek offerings that truly stand out. The food is flavorful and satisfying, leaving you ready to take on the day. What impressed me the most was the service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about making your dining experience memorable. They also seem to have won over the locals, who highly recommend this place - a sure sign of its quality. As a tourist, finding a breakfast spot like this feels like striking gold. It's a perfect start to the day with hearty food, great service, and the stamp of approval from locals. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

EXTREMELY SLOW!! The staff is friendly enough but it took nearly an hour to get our food and the only explanation was that "I have no idea what's taking so long. It got hectic in the kitchen." Once the food finally arrived (54 mins after being seated) it was actually pretty good. The pork chops had a couple of places charred too much but for the most part they were tasty. Biscuits and gravy were excellent indeed, though. Checking out was fast and simple. The owners were right there and seemed friendly enough. I may try this place again, but not sure I've got that kind of free-time to waste if it ends up being as slow. Including the wait to be seated and the time to eat once the food showed up we ended up being at this place for 1hr 45 mins...and that's too long for a breakfast place.

My wife and I have been here multiple times and all of it was for breakfast, but tonight we decided to show our love and give our support on their first day back open after they had been closed for a month due to flooding. We waited over 45 minutes for our food, mind you there were only two other tables full of people in the entire place, and the waitress has never been very unfriendly in other visits was there tonight. We thought we’ll maybe they were short handed in the kitchen, but then our food came out and both my wife and I’s food was cold in spots, the bacon in my burger wasn’t cooked all of the way through and didn’t taste very good. We thought, why did we wait this long for cold food. We are seriously thinking of NEVER coming back again because of this. Especially since the waitress when told of how the food was said “sorry” and didn’t really seem sorry and didn’t offer anything else to compensate us for the long wait or anything. We were so disappointed in this because we really wanted to support them. We hope that things will improve, but...

I’m nervous about writing this because I love this place and I don’t want it to get so busy that I can’t find a seat, but I feel that people need to know! When you first walk in someone yells out anywhere you can sit anywhere! Now for some places that could be a problem because if they don’t know where you sat down then most time it takes for ever for someone to notice you, But not at Skippers. A few seconds after you sit down, someone walks over to greet you and Boom your off and running. I have waited after I have been to a place several times before I ever think about writing a review just in case a place is having a good day or a bad day, In the case of skippers, I have eaten here at least a dozen times and it’s always the same, perfect! Possibly the best coffee I have ever had, I just had the Ham and cheese omelette and as usual it was great. They even sell shirts and I. Bought one yesterday morning when I was in for breakfast. Anyway this ran longer then I thought but if you live breakfast then you will love this little place, it’s a...
