Aldo's New York Pizza — Restaurant in Clearwater

⚠️DO NOT GO TO ALDO'S⚠️ The owner took my order and everything was fine. 2 large pizza, some garlic breads, wings and a 2 little soda $100. They do not offer cups or ice. Bread was fairly good. Pizzas were fine. I asked for mild wings but I guess different restaurants have different meanings for what mild is. The wings were buffalo sauce spicy. When I took a bite of one to taste them, the sauce was spicy enough that I could feel it trough my nose before even biting them. I talked to the owner to get less spicy wings or plain ones as they were for my kids but he didn't want to make me new ones. He offered to add butter to those to see if it was less spicy. My father in law came in after me and asked him to please change them because my kids couldn't eat them because of how spicy they were and the owner refused. We asked him to refund us the wings because we couldn't eat them and he also refused a refund. My father in law and him exchanged nasty words as there was no effort to help us at that point so we ended up leaving. If I'm paying $100 to feed my family, I expect you to at least do my order right. Do yourself a favor and go...

I recently ordered pizza from this place because they promised delivery within 30 minutes. With hungry kids at home eagerly waiting for their pizza, I thought it would be a quick and easy dinner. However, after waiting for an hour, I reached out to see what was going on. I was told that the driver was at the restaurant picking up my order and that I should expect delivery within 15 minutes.

Thirty minutes later, I contacted them again to ask for an update, as it had already been an hour past the promised delivery time. After a total of two hours of waiting, I was informed that my order had been canceled because the driver decided not to deliver it, despite my home being just a few minutes away from the shop.

Now, two hours later, we were still without food, and I had to explain to my kids that there would be no pizza for dinner. In the end, I had to whip up some sandwiches instead. I understand that they may be facing staffing issues, but they should not be offering delivery if they can't follow through. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, and I will not be ordering...

Place of business is in a very small strip mall maybe four stores and it’s very difficult to get in there because it’s right on Gulf To Bay and people are flying past you.I had a slice of pepperoni well-done, and three garlic knots. Honestly, the pizza is terrible. You could barely taste any flavor in the cheese or the sauce or even the crust. When that happens, it’s a sign of using the cheapest ingredients available.It didn’t even look appetizing. It looked and tasted like Pizza you would get at a food court in a mall. Speaking as a native New Yorker, in no way shape or form was this New York style pizza.The garlic knots had the same issue. Barely any garlic flavor. Tasted more like oil than anything else. All in all, I had a slice of pepperoni, three garlic knots and a can of soda and that came out to $10. So the prices are reasonable and the owner was very nice, but I honestly cannot recommend this place if you’re looking for New York style pizza or New York...
