Was in town today and just decided to find a local boba spot for my cravings and ended up at Machi Boba !! I ordered a watermelon milk tea with kiwi popping boba, it was awful, It was dark in color and the kiwi boba tasted like medicine , didn’t taste like watermelon milk tea at alllll ! Watermelon milk tea from experience should be pink. I have no idea what I was given. In addition I ordered the Korean hotdog with “fish sausage” I admit I was skeptical about the fish sausage as I’d never heard of it and am very familiar with Korean corn dogs (huge fan) however , let me warn you the smell of it may knock you 50 feet back , heavily fishy but a foul odor as well, I took a bite and it wasn’t as bad as it smelled but I couldn’t do more than that as I felt sick almost immediately i don’t know if it was from the boba or the corn dog but both were thrown out !!! Overall a really sad experience, I hate to pay money for food and it’s nasty 🤮 , I seen the rating which is why I chose to visit but I was very dissatisfied 😔. Staff was very friendly the one star is...
Read moreI've been waiting for this place to open as there are no real boba places where I live, but this place is at least near where I work. I remembered to look them up again and was so happy to see they're finally open, and just placed a quick to go order for omw home. I definitely plan on trying more of their drinks, and do wish they had rose or lavender milk teas on the menu but was very excited to see they did have a jasmine tea as well as durian! I finally tried a durian boba a while ago and loved it, got one here and it tasted so much better. I also got a honeydew milk tea for my bf, he said it wasn't honeydewey enough and tasted very milky but after a sip I had to disagree, it was a nice milk tea flavor followed by a strong honeydew flavor. He still liked it and would try a different one next time from this place. only place kinda close to us that has so many options! I wasn't there too long but the staff were very...

Tried the ramen here and sadly, it was one of the most underwhelming bowls I’ve had. The broth was completely flavorless—even after adding Sriracha and hoisin sauce, it still tasted like hot water with noodles. That alone was disappointing, but it didn’t stop there.
They charged an extra $2 for a plain hard-boiled egg—no soft-boiled egg option, which is a standard in any decent ramen spot. Another $2 for four pieces of fatty, stringy steak that tasted pre-boiled and completely flavorless. Chewy and inedible, not worth the money at all.
At these prices, you'd expect something satisfying. Unfortunately, this bowl lacked soul, seasoning, and any sign of...
