Lovely Nails — Local services in Clearwater

Attempted to patronize this local business but was informed after patiently waiting 10 mins in an otherwise empty lobby, they we very busy and unable to take me as a walk-in, offered to schedule me on Monday as they only have 1technician to do acrylic. When I asked IF they do NOT accept walk in appointments on weekend afternoon, I was told they do and infact a OLD Caucasian woman interjected she was a Walk-in who just had her feet done, so I asked if weekend walk in availability was restricted to pedicure and was told by said woman no, it was her CHOICE. I previously stated I was willing to wait as it was 11:30AM,😀 assuming some time during the WHOLE day I could be accommodated, yet was still refused service as they are "very busy today" with "booked appointments" Needless to say. My first time going here was excited because it was conveniently close to where I live , I walked in I was greeted & although I noticed they didn’t have a lot of workers they said it would be 10 mins which I could wait for , I sat down about 30 mins later a woman got my water started for my pedicure , a woman walks in , me unaware that the lady who started me had an “appointment” ( which she didn’t tell me until after I patiently waited some more as she got this lady started) she starts on this lady & leaves my toes in now almost cold water , I acknowledge the fact she overlooked me she then proceeds to come over to try to work on my feet with the same gloves & tools she has started working on the other woman with , very unsanitary I walked out , won’t be going back as well telling my friends & family about...

I think this salon is very selective about who they take as a client. I stopped by 3 times different times even during slow times and was told that they are “busy” and come back later. I tip well and I am courteous to my nail techs. Only reason why I wanted to go to this salon is because it is close to work. As a customer I did not feel welcome and not sure why I sense some discrimination. But I found a better place. I don’t think they will stay open much longer specially based on reviews. Glad they...
