Rudest, inattentive workers behind the food counter ever. Worse than that they don't even pretend to care! As if its some kind of joke to take helping customers seriously.
I ordered a sandwich, and I am diabetic, and I was a few minutes behind the order ready time, no more than 10 at the most. And when I went to the food counter to ask, there were four people back there, one with a clipboard, one making sandwiches, one blonde woman who seemed to behave like a manager, and a black guy laughing. I looked directly at the manager and the sandwich maker and made eye contact, and neither one acknowledged me AT ALL.
I said, "Excuse me." Totally ignoring me beyond belief. I had to go to the check out registers and demand for service and she had to go over and get the food workers attention.
It was one of the worst gas station experiences I have ever had, and I go there 5 days a week!!! There are plenty of other gas stations, but I choose WAWA because of the great coffee. Although, often times they have empty canisters and you have to wait 5-10min for them to brew a batch, IF you can get anyones attention!
The ONLY reason to go here is if you go SELF Serve ONLY! Make your own drink, order food and pay online, or self check out.
Also, the bathrooms are always nasty, and rarely clean. Its not the worst Wawa bathroom, some of the Wawa bathrooms in Holiday are much worse, but avoid it, if possible.
This upsets me to have to write this, as a person who has seen the potential and has had experienced great service from this WaWA before, the bar has dropped so low, Im not sure if coffee is enough to keep me coming...
Read moreThe only reason I am giving this 4 stars after what happened is because of the supervisor Tony. He is amazing and really knows what customer service is about. Whenever he is on shift the store is clean and well stocked.
On the other hand, Eve, the store manager is probably the worst person that could be in that job. She is rude, and she doesn’t know anything about customer service.
After buying my drink on self checkout, my kids decided they wanted something so I also rang that up on self check out. After that I realized I needed gas so I got back in line and told manager Eve that I had already paid for my stuff and needed gas, mind you the line is to the back of the store at this point. She starts asking me questions and if I had a pepperoni pizza and I said no I had a pepperoni sandwich. At this point I realized she was looking at past orders to see if I was lying or not. She said I didn’t have my drink on that order and I don’t think I need to explain that I rang it up on another order. She is horrible with talking to people and rude. She made me look like a thief when I have enough points on the Wawa app to not have to buy a $2 fountain drink for a year.
If you don’t trust your customers then take out self checkout.
Tony should be running that store. He is the only one that makes sure the drink station is stocked. He is the only one I see pressure washing once a month. He is the only one I see vacuuming the hall carpets. I come to this Wawa 4-5 times a day....

Update after a month, left feedback on app twice a week and reviewed here for over a month. Haven’t been contacted nor has the problem been fixed. Feel bad for the employees having to deal with this as they’ve said they’ve mentioned it management multiple times and nothing has been done. Quality going downhill. Today the mobile order didn’t even show up. Also no option add extra sauce for bowls which is needed every time.
I've been getting bowls here on a consistent basis. At first ordering through the app was working fine, but for the past 2-3 weeks I am getting a bowl without all the items I selected on the app. This is not the fault of the staff that work here as the ticket doesn't show those items (I've reported this multiple times to the staff and through the app).
