This has the potential to be an amazingly awesome dog park however the maintenance is beyond bad. They spent thousands of dollars supposedly getting rid of the mud holes that are in the park yet the problem still has not been resolved and I guess the contractors paid. Additionally they change the water bowls which now just run or don't work. Additionally they put benches in which they tore out because nobody bothered to pay attention to the fact dogs run around and could get hurt by the way these benches were built. So now we have no place to sit if necessary. Finally after I guess many complaints they put a porta potty however they use up a parking space which is desperately needed whereas they could have put this porta potty very close to the entrance to the park not taking up any space that could be used for parking. I don't know who it is that makes these decisions but that person should be fired I mean fired.
Maintenance in Clearwater Parks is a joke we spend millions to have things just ignored.
they didn't even bother to pick up the garbage after the recent storm and just drive over it with mowers and chop up plastic and aluminum etcetera so it can spread even further. This is such a breach of fiduciary responsibility on the part of the city and the people that they hired to manage these facilities.
They might be good bureaucrats but they're lousy managers.
The head of Parks and recreation say nobody can do the job as good as city workers. No contractors are good enough.
In the non-profit community the more people you manage the more money you make so we can see where this person is coming from who should be fired for breach of fiduciary duty to the public which is the group this person is supposed to serve.
The city departments need to wake up and realize they work for us not for the...
Read moreMorning walks at Enterprise Dog Park are more than just a routine—they’re a cherished ritual. Each visit feels like stepping into a living, breathing painting, where shifting shadows, changing winds, and the soft symphony of birdsong create a space that’s never the same twice.
While I go to the park at all times of the day, there’s something special about the mornings. It’s a time for peace, reflection, and connection—not just with my dogs, but with the world around me. Over the years, this place has become more than just a park; it’s a presence, a sanctuary in the heart of Pinellas.
Beyond the nature and quiet serenity, the real magic comes from the people and dogs who share this space. The friendships formed here—whether in passing conversations, shared laughs, or simply the unspoken bond of familiar faces—make each visit unique. It’s a place where backgrounds, professions, and stories blend into a simple, shared appreciation for life’s small joys.
I record these moments and share them through my reviews and other platforms, hoping others can experience even a fraction of the wonder I do each day. Enterprise Dog Park isn’t just a destination—it’s an experience, one that reminds us to slow down, breathe, and enjoy...
Read moreUpdate Spring 2017. New drinking fountains put in. New drinking bowl set up on platform added by entrance. Awful smell by entrance seems better. I appreciate the continued improvements to this already wonderful dog park!
Best dog park I have been to. Huge. My one complaint is the awful smell toward the entrance....worse than other dog parks. Think it may be the garbage cans (for poop) that need tending more frequently....not sure.
I had not been here in over 6 months, but went again (October 2016). Still the funky smell I have not smelled in any other dog park. But I LOVE this park for the people that go there and because even at what I would consider non peak times (a Tuesday at 9:30 am) there were plenty of dogs for my pups to play with. Lots of bags donated by people for poop. I just wish this was closer to me!
We have been back a few times in Fall 2016. Still the best dog park I have been to in the Tampa metro area. The human/dog water fountains are so nonfunctional that they need to be replaced. Water dishes to fill are there, though. The nicer water fountains on the far side need the plastic pieces replaced, although they still work reasonably well & are preferred to the old...
