Just had the WORST experience at Castello’s Pizza. I am shaking I am so furious.
We ordered $96 worth of food. We saw on their website they had a 15% deal which is great for that high of a total.
My husband goes to pick up our order, comes back, and tells me they won’t honor it. Also the calamari was like rubber and they forgot our garlic knots. The pizza was good, I will give them that.
I called to ask if they could resolve the coupon not being used and the forgotten knots and bad calamari. They tell me the manager won’t talk to me.
Now I’m irritated. I walk in there and again, ask to speak to the manager. They tell me no. So now, I’m not irritated I’m mad. How can a manager not speak to a customer about an issue at their restaurant??
I will add, I was fine up until this point. No raised voices, still ASKING to PLEASE talk to the manager. But at this point I shouted loud enough so she could hear me from the back.
She threatened to call the police, I told her fine. She freaks out and tells me to walk to the kitchen, where she starts freaking out more at me. I tell her the issues, and she could care less. Finally she tries to compromise that she would remake the calamari. Nothing about the missing garlic knots because she INSISTS she gave them to us, and said too bad about the coupon it’s not good anymore (even though they are still advertising it)
After much back and forth arguing she finally yells at the cashier to refund me.
Look, I get it. Places are short staffed. Food is taking longer and more issues are happening. I GET IT! I worked several jobs in the service field. From servers, to pizza driver, to yes… management.
The thing that makes me so mad is how she could care less. Refusing to talk like she’s a child. I am still so blown away. Also as I was walking out, there was another woman asking to speak to her as well, something about plastic in her food.
I would never NEVER have written this post if the manager had not been so outrageous unprofessional. Legit screaming....
Read moreWe were so happy to have found a local gourmet pizza shop in Clermont close to our home! We’ve been going every Friday evening for a pizza however they’ve lost our business. On March 17, 2023 we tried their Genoese pizza ( tomatoes, chicken, broccoli, green peppers & bk olives) delicious pizza.! That night they forgot the chicken, the main ingredient lol & we kindly asked our same waiter Pedro about the chicken? His reply was holly xxxxx they forgot the chicken?! He went back to kitchen where the woman/pizza chef same lady as every Friday & she offered the chicken on the side or to make a new pizza? We didn’t want to Waste a new pizza so she said next Time we will “comp you a pizza “ & we were fine w/that since we come wkly. Following Friday, April 24 we dine in like normal, order same pizza & reminded them of our “comp pizza” from last week & what happened. We’ll guess Ms. Pizza Chef changed her mind & said I never offered that but I’ll give you extra chicken tonight. I’m all about principal & keeping your word. I hope that $20 pizza was worth my business because we don’t support local business that don’t appreciate loyal customers. I hope the owners will see this review...
Read moreVisited tonight which is the 2nd time in about a month and a half. I ordered the silicon with no jalapeños. The pizza came with jalapeños. I sent the pizza back and was told they would remake it. I got the "new" pizza back in about 5 minutes which is quick to remake a pizza. I ate the first piece and said this seems peppery hot. I tried another piece and said there is no way this pizza was remade. I called the waiter over to ask if he could show me the pizza that had been disposed of because I do not believe it was remade. He went to the kitchen came back and said it was remade. I again asked if he could show me the one that had been disposed of. He came back again empty handed and said we can offer you a free dessert. I said I don't want a free dessert I just want to see tge disposed of pizza. He then said we did not remake it. I have never been so disappointed in a business to try to deceive...
