Played the King's Course, and it was just in horrendous shape. The condition of the tee boxes suggests complete neglect. Many, many areas where the paths are falling apart and on the fairway it felt like I was driving over some ATV terrain course. That must be doing a ton of damage to the carts. It's a bummer. They must be having financial challenges because it just looks like they don't have a groundskeeper managing anything. I guess compared to some of the other courses in the area it's a 'bargain' at $50 a round, but for that I'd at least expect to be hitting off grass from the tee. This was kind of a joke. It's a very chill vibe. Everyone is exceptionally friendly. I was disappointed to stop at the turn and discover they didn't even have hot dogs to eat. This was around 12:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday...c'mon guys, nothing to eat? Oh...and make sure you bring your own water, and a lot of it. There isn't a single water fill station on the course. Again...that to me speaks of financial issues. You aren't going to provide water out there to your customers in the 90+ degree Florida heat? Again...that is a joke. It's a shame...this place could be so awesome! The location is tremendous and the layout is decent enough. It just needs some of the basics figured out.

Exec course review. A solid 4 maybe 4.5. I enjoyed playing Kings Ridge. A short executive course with lots of elevation changes and a few nice par 4s. Conditions were very good with maybe the exception of some tee boxes. Greens were very nice for the price paid. Recommended for tuning up your short game. Peculiarities include that you need to check in at the main clubhouse and take your cart on about a 10 minute expedition through the neighborhood to get to the exec course. Obviously, not enough business to constantly staff the second clubhouse. There was also no starter so you can go when you want, but this could be a problem if you are not part of a full foursome. Make sure you get the restroom code before you leave check in

I have lived in Kings Ridge by the 6th green for11 years. Have played golf on the Kings Course for 20 years. 20 years ago this was a 5 star golf course. Today it is not a golf course to be proud of as is the par 3 Executive Course. The course appears to be busy most of the time. Issues are greens in poor shape, many dead trees and large limbs not being removed, many areas of dead grass by the raised tee offs, fairways need more attention, and areas surrounding greens with raised area— dead grass noted. Can anyone explain why this has happened to 2 beautiful courses?

Posting this here because the higher ups at this golf course completely ignored the email I sent voicing my concerns.

Giving only 1 star is a joke. 0 stars should be possible

This was my first time golfing at this establishment. We encountered some difficulties at this course that I feel are important to share.

At check in using the Golfpass app the pro shop attendant told us the course rules of collared shirts. This was not the first time we were met with this requirement and understood it. The frustration lied in where the rule was stated. I asked Billy to show me where it was in the app and he viewed my reservation and spent 5 minutes searching without any success. He stated that he could not find the rule on the app but it did not change the policy. I asked for a one time exemption as I have recently moved here and would obey the policy going forward yet there was no leniency. " This is a semi private golf course" was the response. The irony of this is when on the course I encountered 2 elderly gentlemen who were not wearing collared shirt. Instead we had to pay 38 dollars for a "clearance" collared T which is an absolute money grab and infuriating when older members can bypass this rule.

The other frustrations with this course were the lack of assistance on and around the course itself. No one to assist with where the 1st tee is. Us and another first time group could not find the 1st tee box and there was 0 assistance from anyone. We also were met with angry and impatient golfers due to one of our golfer member misplacing a club on the previous hole. We let 2 parties play through and they were so kind. However when we finally began to play an elderly man was enraged because we were breaking up his 5 Team outing and we should get out of there way because he was a member. Just complete disrespect for guests and a sense of privilege. We just left the hole completely and skipped it to the next tee all together.

As a newbie to golf and the community it's extremely disappointing to try and do the right thing and be met with such rigidness at your facility. When you see rules being bent for members but not paying guests you definitely feel shorted and marginalized by this golf course. I will continue my journey as a golfer but without a doubt I do not see the point of playing at a place where even though it is open to the public you are treated differently and not shown the same...

First time playing this course and don’t plan to come back due to staff. At check in, we weren’t informed there were two differences courses and weren't instructed on how to get to them. When we found the first tee box, the rangers argued we didn’t have a tee time. After showing them our receipts, they informed us we were supposed to go to the other course. That wasn’t an issue as we’ve never been, so we told them we had no idea, asked for directions, and eventually found the other course.

Our biggest issue was that on the 10th tee box, we were confronted a second time by one of these rangers. He immediately began accusing us of trying to sneak onto the course the weekend before and warned us not to try it again. Baffled, we explained we’ve never been to this course before ever and we were both out of town the weekend prior, so there’s clearly no way we could’ve done that. Instead of dropping it or apologizing, he continued to accuse us, commenting that he recognized my face and my last name. Let me reiterate: I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THIS PLACE IN MY LIFE. We went back and forth with this ranger for 5 minutes while he wrongly accused us, then eventually drove off saying “ok, well don’t try it again”. Needless to say, this wrecked the whole mood of our day.

When we dropped off the cart, we mentioned this incident to the front desk who joked that they can be a little over zealous sometimes. I’m assuming by that, this is not the first incident with this ranger.

Overall, poor communication and incredibly rude and aggressive rangers. Which is sad, because it ruined what was an enjoyable course up...

If I could give zero stars, I would. I booked two tee times for a birthday celebratory golf session. We were not actively playing together, but we wanted to stay close as we were a group. We were then separated by the course Marshall who then proceeded to rush us the entire course even though there was no one waiting behind us and we kept pace. There were a multitude of other inconveniences that totaled this to be the worst golf experience any of us have ever had. It was overall a waste of money and everyone had a miserable time. There are much better courses in the area that you should go to that are worth the extra cost. This was supposed to be a fun and relaxing time with friends and was quickly turned into a negative day. The only positive service that we received was from the beverage cart and the check in desk. Had I know that we would be rushed as paying customers the entire course and watched the entire time, I would have spent my day as well as my money elsewhere. As the other reviews attest to, there are better places to go and after reading some of the negative reviews about how customers were treated after raising concerns , I did not bother mentioning this to anyone as I doubted there would be any action taken to resolve the issue. We ended up not even finishing the course and I wish I could get back the money I spent or at least partial of it. It is a shame as my fiancé and his friends would frequent this course but after this experience, we will not be returning and I would advise anyone reading this to...
