Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Clermont

It is with great disappointment that I have to write this review. Marco's Pizza used to be my family's favorite, thanks in large part to the excellent management and consistent service provided by the former General Manager, . The staff was always friendly, orders were accurate, and the pizzas were made with care.

Since the old GM's departure, however, the quality of this location has dropped off a cliff. It's truly concerning.

Specific Issues:

Wait Times: What used to be a reliable 10-minute pickup is now an unpredictable 45-60 minute wait, even with an order placed ahead of time. I've had to wait well past the quoted ready time on multiple occasions.

Order Accuracy: My last three orders have had significant errors: missing toppings, a wrong crust type, and on one occasion, the pizza was barely warm. It seems like the attention to detail is completely gone.

Customer Service: The new team seems overwhelmed, and the level of courtesy and professionalism has noticeably declined. There's a palpable sense of chaos and low morale, which unfortunately translates into a poor customer experience. When I tried to politely inquire about a delayed order, the staff member was dismissive and didn't offer an apology or an explanation.

This used to be a well-oiled machine, and now it feels completely unmanaged. I believe the departure of the former GM has severely impacted the internal operations and staff training. I sincerely hope that corporate or the new management will step in to address these issues immediately, as I will sadly have to take my business elsewhere until the service returns to its former standard. It took me FOUR hours to get my pizza tonight. I placed the order at 7:30 pm. Estimated delivery was supposed to be at 8:15-8:25. I called at 9 pm to figure out what happened/cancel my order (so I can pick up food elsewhere) —the manager told me my pizza was out for delivery so I didn’t cancel my order. At 9:45 (and getting hangrier by the minute) I call to get a refund and to see if they can just deliver the cold pizza when it gets there (since I’ve waited a little over 2 hours) -manager tells me it’s going to be refunded AND make a brand new pizza so it’s warm. We wait/stay up because it’s late but we’ve already committed —at 11:42 we FINALLY get our pizza. The pizza is COLD, not warm, not chilly but COLD and it tastes like day old pizza —and I actually LIKE Marco’s pizza. I actually like day-old pizza and this pizza was awful. I might be biased because I’m hangry as hell but this was awful. The manager told us for hours that the pizza was in commute (although we repeated our “pizza tracker” said otherwise. On top of that he was rude and even hung up on my boyfriend in the last call. Great pizza (normally) but honestly, go ANYWHERE else. Hungry Howies has like $5 pizza, Papa Johns has rewards and 50%off pizza days after Orlando Magic or OCSC tie or win. Go to BWW & on their busiest day, I promise it will not take 4 hours to...
