McDonald's — Restaurant in Clermont

Went to the drive thru today. My family arrived at approximately 4:55. We sat at the speaker for about 5 minutes, but no one took our order. I should have taken that as a sign, but my youngest really wanted a Happy Meal, and we were already there, so I pulled ahead to the first window.

The young lady working there was literally the only positive part of our experience. She was wearing a blue Florida sweatshirt, so I don't know her name. She apologized and took our order. Then she came up to the 2nd window and spoke with the employee working there so they knew our order was next. She helped fulfill our drink order and went back to help at the 1st window.

Unfortunately, the person bagging our order did not double check, so we were two cheeseburgers short. We pulled around, parked, and I sent my daughter in with the receipt thinking this would be an easy fix.

Except it wasn't...she was inside for nearly 10 minutes and then I went in after her. No one was helping the customers at the counter. They were just blatantly ignoring them. Cars continued to pile up in the drive thru. More customers came inside. More customers were ignored. I saw the girl who'd helped us before and asked for the cheeseburgers. She asked the cook for the cheeseburgers. I saw them. She helped another customer, and the person bagging orders took the burgers for a mobile order. The girl ran the bag outside because the person (I assume the manager-an older lady) told her to and ordered us two more burgers.

At 5:25, I finally got the other burgers. Everything else was cold. Could I have asked for my money back or a fresh order? Sure...but that might have taken an hour at that point. I'm just going to call this one a loss, and we won't be back, except maybe to get a soda, since they got our...

I don’t hand out too many 1-stars but this location deserves it. Their drive-thru usually get things wrong but if they do actually get it right, there are still usually issues. I’ve been given plenty of half-filled cups of soda or no ice at all (their ice machine hasn’t currently worked for months), massive issues with food items, and more. Yesterday, one of the managers told me their double hamburger is $3.00 now and I should be thankful they made me a McDouble for a lot cheaper price (even though that is false plus McDouble is a cheeseburger).

Then, there is the safety issues and cleanliness. I’ve been in there a few times when I’ve almost slipped. Yesterday, during my time in there trying to correct the 4 things they messed up (out of 7 total items), I took the attached picture. The person mopping just left a majorly wet floor at the front door to go do something and then came back to finish the rest of the entry way. Not until he was totally finished did he ever stick the wet floor sign up...like 6 feet away from the front door.

It seems this location doesn’t care about anything at all. There are sometimes one or two new people that do try but they don’t last long. I don’t expect too much from any McDonalds but this one...

Well, I finally found it. I stopped here on a road trip today. Hands down the absolute worst McDonald's I have ever experienced. I don't expect much from fast food, but when I went in with my young children, here were a few things I encountered in no particular order.

1. A single self-service kiosk was working. It was out of receipt paper.
2. The screen that shows order status was blue screened.
3. The bathroom was destroyed, and feces were smeared everywhere.
4. The employees were screaming at each other, pushing each other and dropping F bombs in front of children and customers.
5. One employee was sitting on the food prep area texting.
6. They forgot almost every item in my order. I had an employee go back 4 times to get the food I ordered. It was a happy meal and a double cheeseburger meal.
7. Half the soda fountain was out of order.
8. Despite being one of three customers, all my food was cold.

It's an absolute circus. The condition of the store was pitiful, and the staff behavior was completely unacceptable. I would have fired every employee in this store if they...
