I ordered a vodka drink at the bar. It was a different kind of vodka since they only can sell beer or wine which classified it as a wine. The bartender didn't have cranberry juice, so I got the strawberry kiwi. It was not good. I told him that and asked for a merlot instead. He said oh you should just chug the vodka drink with your friends. Which was odd. When i get the bill, it was $16 fort the 2 drinks. He said he couldn't take off the vodka drink which i did not even drink. I had also asked him how much a drink was when i first got there and he didn't answer. I thought maybe $6 max. And it was 5:30pm. Should have been a happy hour.

Reply to Shari: Since it was a Tuesday and not busy, I would recommend happy hour pricing to increase your business on the slow days. And don't serve the wine vodka. Not good. Many other places have weekday...

Suds saloon is in the lower level of the montrose west marketplace. It’s a great bar only establishment with lots of options. The draft beer menu is huge, as is the seasonal beer menu. I was surprised when I asked the bartender what was on tap and he told me “everything highlighted” on the menu. It was a lot! I always prefer draft beer over bottled or canned so it was nice to have that many options from a smaller place. But I was very pleased. I had a seasonal beer from Tampa brewing company called gourds gone wild. It was delicious. The bartender recommended it as his favorite seasonal and he was right. I loved it. Fun little place to grab a beer while you’re out and about in downtown Clermont. I always appreciate giving my business to local small businesses. Go there. Have a drink...
