We have two daughters, 1 and 3 years old, and they both love this park. We spend the bulk of our time on the swings, but there's also a separate toddler play area, with a couple slides and the usual climbing, monkey bars, etc. For older children there are many interesting climbing elements, and unique apparatuses. It's not your standard playground, by any means. We often bring breakfast and eat on a bench before the girls play. There's also a little boardwalk trail to the lake, which we'll do occasionally, and a pavilion area where we frequently see families hosting birthday parties. This last time we were there, I noticed there are also racquet ball courts, in addition to the standard amenities, such as tennis courts and ball / soccer fields. Four baseball and two tee-ball fields, three tennis courts, a basketball court, sand volleyball, soccer field, outdoor handball, large playground and an 800 ft boardwalk to a scenic outlook of Lake Palatlakaha, fishing optional. Occasionally, the ballfields and soccer field closes to recover from wear and tear. Hidden away off Hwy 50 and 12th Street, there's also a large pavilion and several picnic tables.
