Parnell's Pub — Restaurant in Cleveland Heights

Usually a really good bar with nice bar tenders but the bartender today named Brandon kicked us out because he cannot keep to his words, and just wanted to charge us unfairly, he promised free drinks to us last time when we were there and this time when we started drinking we got our first drinks for free and by the end of the session when i paid him he charged us for all the drinks excepting just 1 free drink, initially he said our first drinks would be free and later he just bolted and kicked us out when we confronted him about it. I have been in Cleveland for more than a decade and never faced anything like this and we are a regular to this bar but this kind of behavior just offset me so much that i will never be visiting this bar until this bartender is there. Worst thing is he would have said something before i gave him cash for the cash out. And he had the dare to tell us to tip him more if we want to be...

Honestly, its a nice bar. I liked the other one by the Cedar Lee a little better, but its still nice.

Why the 2 star review? it would probably be one star if the one Bartender wasn't there. None of their prices aren't listed, which is normal. But be wary, if you dont know what you're ordering, they will NOT warn you. Who I believe was the owner/manager of this establishment had no problem pouring me a glass of expensive spirits that I had no idea what it was. Should I have asked? Sure. But when someone who runs an establishment like that cant say "Hey kid, just so you know, this is top shelf stuff", it leaves a sour taste in your mouth.

Needless to say, I'll be avoiding this establishment. If you're looking for a good cocktail bar, go for it. But if you are not experienced in the prices of certain things: BEWARE. They WILL take...

With the current level of rudeness (except the lady working at the bar who is nice and polite) this pub would never survive if the pub/walk-in bar density of the area wasn't this low. I went there twice and regretted both times. Particularly avoid talking to the bearded men working (probably owners?) in this pub. Or just cross the street and go to the Fairmount so you're gonna be sure your day/night...
