Unfortunately, what started as a plan to watch Thursday Night Football with my Hubs and enjoy some yummy food, turned out to be just wanting to hurry up and get out of BWW. Thursday Night football, Commanders at Packers. We arrive about 5 mins or so before kickoff, no wait and PLENTY of seating, but the sign says "Please Wait to be Seated", so we do. No problem as we know BWW needs to manage the wait staff and the number of table they support. We are finally greetes and are seated with menus, at a tall table in the bar area. Then we wait. And wait. I ask my Hubs if he's checked. The time, to which he said, yes, already started (we've been burned before). We were about ready to give up, when our waitress comes over, with trainee in tow. Gets our drink order, and we said we're ready to order, as we've had AMPLE time to review the menu. We ordered the Pick 6 for $19.99. Two burgers, one order tots, one order french fries and two soft drinks. And we waited. And waited. I noticed other patrons who were sat after us received food before we did. The food... Fries, small, broken, no flavor. Tots, greasy flavor. Burgers, not bad, actually. A little too crispy on the edges from the 'smash" but decent flavor. Here's the kicker....a Dad and his two sons were seated in a booth in front of us... They waited, and waited....noone even acknowledged them. They got up and left. A party of 4 were seated at the high table next to us, they waited, and waited...noone acknowledged them. They left. Meanwhile, I see wait staff in the drink cubby laughing at whatever it is they are looking on their phones. One bright note... The waitress (light blond hair, braided ponytail) who worked the outside patio had a motorcycle group come in and she was very attentive. Kudos to her. Im pretty sure we're done with BWW...unless I hear otherwise that their staff is properly trained on how to be attentive to patrons. We almost walked out...last time this happened, we did. It's so frustrating to have a great spot to watch sports and have some good food and drinks, only to not want to go because of the poor customer service. There...
Read moreWe stopped here after driving for 12.5 hours (with 1.5 hours to go still) hoping we could just stop quickly and get back on the road. We went to the bar area hoping for quick service. There were several empty tables but they were all dirty. We went back to the host stand to let him know, he had to go clean the table himself so we could sit. After waiting over 10 minutes, another guest got up and left after asking us if we had been helped yet. She had been waiting over 15 minutes. Our waiter finally came and got our drink order about 15 minutes in. We went ahead and ordered our food with our drinks - boneless wings and some cheese fries. We requested tea to drink but we’re told there wasn’t any. We later saw the bartender pouring and drinking a glass of tea. We also saw her eating a sandwich at the end of the bar in between serving people - she never washed her hands between eating and touching her face and then returning to serving people. We can’t fault our waiter at all. He appeared to be the only one serving in the bar area (approximately 15 tables) and was trying his best to take care of everyone. We found out later he had only been working there 2 weeks. I don’t know his name, but he was doing a great job considering he was new and had absolutely no help from the other staff in that area. We commended him on his service, as the female staff in the bar area seemed to be more interested in talking and flirting with guests than doing any work. It was about 45 minutes before our wings came out. We had to ask for our cheese fries and silverware. Our cheese fries were the most pitiful batch of fries I have ever seen, the fries were hard and the cheese appeared to be sliced cheese that was placed on the top and then microwaved. The wings themselves tasted good and seemed to be cooked correctly. In addition, the men’s restroom had a urinal that had overflowed and water was in the floor. An employee came out of one of the stalls and seemed to ignore the fact that there was water everywhere. Overall, this restaurant reminded me of one of the restaurants shown on episodes...
Read moreI am so confused as to HOW this place has this many stars??? The first time we came in with friends, we had THE worst service. And the place was SLOW. They gave our friends the wrong kind of wings, EVERYTHING was cold and we sat there for over an hour waiting for our food. The host was zoned out watching the game and we stood there for a good minute before the guy looked at us, then went back to watching the game. We didn’t even know he was the host. Then, he finally looked back at us and was surprised we were there. Our friend then left a poor review and was contacted by the manager apologizing for the bad visit. She was then contacted on the phone by Ana representing this BWW. Ana told our friend the next time we came, to tell them “Ana will take care of you”. So when we came back to try again, we told the waitress “Ana said she’d take care of us”, she then went to go talk to the manager. We never even saw the manager, she never came out to greet us. They were confused as to what being “taken care of” meant. So they decided to wait until we finished our meal to decide the discount we would receive. Our friend never got the beer he ordered, and I had to wait about 5 minutes to eat my salad because I had the incorrect dressing. All the while everyone else had their food. I guess the chef decided that because they didn’t have the correct dressing that comes with the salad, they would just give me whatever they wanted. So because I asked for the dressing that is supposed to come With the salad, the chef had to make another batch. Which I appreciated. But it would have been nice to know that before actually receiving A dry salad and then waiting. They also forgot the avocado. This is such a TERRIBLE BWW. It is a joke that we were told we’d be “taken care of” and the service was STILL TERRIBLE. I hope people going to this BWW will take this into consideration. We will never be going back. I wouldn’t even go back if...
