Unless you are someone who has money to burn and only wants to stop at one place, you have to make this your first stop for groceries. With exception to coca-cola products, if Aldi has a product, it's cheaper than you will find it anywhere else. In terms of product offerings, the variety of product there is much like that of a save-a-lot. However, the quality of their products surpasses brand name products. No joke, I like the taste of their skim milk BETTER than any of Mayfield's offerings, and I get it for half the cost. I know Mayfield's is a sacred cow around here (pun intended), but Aldi's is better at a much better price. You will be able to get 80-95% of the items on your grocery list here, and it will save you a ton of money. The drawbacks are that you either bring your own bags, snag an empty box or two, or buy the bags at the front for a small cost. You also have to use a quarter to get the shopping carts for the store, however you recover the quarter if you either bring it back or find someone in the parking lot to give the cart to. I haven't met anyone on staff here that was unpleasant, in many cases I see the same regular cast of characters when I visit and have gotten to know them over time. Many jobs such as this are revolving door jobs where you almost never see the same person twice, but the company appears to take care of their employees, which is something I highly appreciate. And while you are there, check their second aisle for random items you have been looking to buy anyways. Come for groceries, leave with that chainsaw you have been thinking...
Read moreto be honest, im a bit disappointed about the changes ALDI has made to their store. but first let me say, they have grown in stock, they have much more to offer in groceries! but as we know that when that happens, the prices go up! and they have. i loved the old ALDIs because they were a smaller variety, inexpensive secret that everybody knew of. they carried all the good stuff at great prices that other grocery stores would break our wallets charging! and the best secret of all was at Christmas time they had the best old time Christmas candy! but i went there a few days ago and they had a little bit of candy but it wasnt the secret good stuff, it was what you see at every other store. i was sooo bummed out. i got better choices at the new Dollar Tree by Big Lots. like i said they have more items to sell, but their just as expensive as every other grocery store with the new stuff. like their fresh meats, not alot to choose from and prices are too high, n be carefull the price tag on the shelves is only price per pound! not price of the total item itself. their bread is still cheaper, and their snacks are ok priced, and produce is fairly priced ( not as good as it used to be) but cheaper than walmart! but relatively speaking of prices, same as the next guys prices. I wish they never changed. but check it out for yourself. compare prices, you may be pleased. i guess im spoiled by what they used to be before the change. hope this...
Read moreI really enjoy shopping at Aldi for many reasons. I like that the carts are locked until you add a quarter! So many people are paying it forward to those who are coming to shop by handing off the cart instead of putting it away to retrieve their coin. Very helpful!! The store in my area is very clean. I've spoken to management about this, and they're glad I've mentioned it to them. I also like the variety of foods available at lower prices due to the carts staying outside with the coin operating as I mentioned above, and not in the parking lot, Other food items are exclusively the Aldi brand, which means we are able to enjoy seasonal holiday treats from Germany!!
Who can afford good-looking and good tasting salmon at other stores with high prices!!?? Not unless you have quite a bit of money!! The fresh salmon is good and flavorful along with the frozen flounder and grouper. I enjoy looking at the seasonal home section and have purchased some as well. Overall, shopping at Aldi...
