Although this property is brand new the atmosphere is not! It was completely the same as being on the street. There is no professionalism at all! I was not greeted by any employees(& I might add there was a ton of them there at the time having a conversation not related to their work). After asking me for my order the employee had an issue with a previous sell (it was still appearing on the register & she was unable to release it so my order was being added to that order)--but instead of letting me know what was going on and apologizing for the wait she continued to speak with what I assume was a manager-who also did not inform me of the issue. It was only after I said, "okay so am I ordering and do you have the issue taken care of because I do not want to pay for anyone else order!" She then stated it was taken care of and again asked for my order(still I might add with no apology). They all continued with the unrelated work conversation until my food came out. The male employee who brought me my bagged food was so in a rush to get back to the conversation that as he was handing it to me and before I could grab it-he dropped the bag, it fell on the counter and he began to walk away. I started to clear my throat and said "excuse me" and he turned around looking perplexed and said oh thank you...what!!!!! Then went right over to the employees in a group having a conversation like nothing had happened. It was at that moment I knew I was never coming back to that location. After getting in the car with my food, my fiance and I both grab our order and found that they all were burnt!!!! I was furious!!!! How do you burn croissants first off! Then everything else as well...ridiculous! This is a terrible, ghetto location! Just because it is on 79th and Carnegie does not mean we cannot have a professionally run business there! Retrain...
Read moreTerrible quality control and customer service. I go through the drive though almost every other day before work and order an iced matcha latte and without fail every single time I get a macchiato and an attitude from the lady in the window proclaiming I ordered a macchiato when I clearly said matcha. Matcha is not short for macchiato sweety. I get the same drink and everytime it’s a different drink or it’s hot. Last week I ordered it I got charged for a macchiato and the girl in the window tried to charge me AGAIN for the matcha latte. Today was the last straw for me. I was in the drive through and no one on the speaker said anything for a few minutes no “I’ll be right with you” literally crickets so I pull up thinking I can just order through the window and I pull up and explain to them no one spoke to me through the speaker and I hear an older Black woman say with an attitude “well she just gonna have to go back around or come inside” if I had time to do all that then I would have but now I’m over it I won’t be coming back tired of getting attitudes whenever they mess up MY order. How you getting mad you can’t get the drinks right make it make sense. I’m honestly a tad hurt bc I’ve never been rude to any one working there but to receive rudeness everytime they mess up my order is insane considering I’ve shown patience each time on my end....
Read moreMy favorite Dunkin. I've been to several and my experience is generally not good. I've been to this location about 10 times and I had to get on here to say the staff in this store is hands down the best. Today my barista, T was a shining example of what customer service should always be like. She was sincere in her greeting and offered whipped cream on my latte. I like mine a little sweeter, so she asked me to taste it to ensure I was satisfied. Just giving me that 30 seconds of consideration made me feel valued as a customer. The manager Shawnee was present and helping the staff execute the orders quickly. She stopped in the bustle to greet me warmly with a smile. I've seen her before and she works very well with the staff which is something I love to see in a manager. The store itself is extremely clean and well stocked and the bathrooms are very clean. I wish that all chains were like this. I love that I genuinely feel welcome in this store and will always come here. Please tip your barista. Even just a dollar will go a long way in showing appreciation for prompt and...
