They don’t know me but after tonight they will to night we where having a good time enjoying our friends birthday and two random people started fighting and flew through the crowd and security rushed over and started breaking it up drinks literally spilled all over me and my friends and the security started pepper spraying the crowd and some got on my friend and he threw up all over his shirt then so he took his shirt off and started looking for the exit (bro was literally disoriented and just trying to get outside and get some air because the security pepper sprayed the crowd and some got on him ).security thought because his shirt was off he was involved in the fight so they started pepper spraying him and trying to kick him out.the whole time he was telling the security that he never was fighting and (they are spraying him directly in his eye with it and all over his body )to the point where I stepped in and got between everyone and said enough is enough and told them with my hands out blocking everyone from everyone telling them that he was not fighting and they are pepper spraying the wrong person and the only reason his shirt was off is because he threw up on it and got drinks spilled on him from two other peoples altercation and partially sprayed by security. And from me saying that some security guard with glasses and brown skin walked up to me and started spraying me directly in my eyes saying I BUCKED up at them but I never moved a muscle once between everyone with MY HANDS OUT SHOWING I WASN'T A THREAT JUST TRYING TO DEESCALATE THE SITUATION AND LET THEM KNOW THEY GOT YHE WRONG GUY.even when he started spraying me directly in my face and eyes I never fought back I just kept telling him that we where never even in the altercation to begin with and then they said we gotta go and I walked out with pepper spray all over my face eyes and body along with my friend and we had done nothing wrong just came out to have fun. Their security made me never wanna go out ever again because now I don’t feel safe in a place where there’s no one to stop them from doing what they want. What they did tonight was illegal and assault I’ve never been pepper sprayed in my life and the way this feels is traumatizing...
Read moreVisited today for brunch to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Upon arrival, there were no signs on 30th street or in the back of the building. I saw a gentleman coming outside to his car and asked if I was in the right place. Entrance is in the back of the black building.
We were greeted with a free rose and shot and offered free hookah.
The hostess and server were nice. After about a hour, the restaurant filled up and our server was busy and not as attentive.
The food was delicious. I ordered the catfish, grits, and greens…yummy. The pound cake French toast…not so much. Eggs were decent and the tater tots were yummy. Chicken wings were yummy. I wish they had a few more menu items available for brunch. They provide plasticware and ketchup in packets as a note.
The music was very loud making it difficult to have conversation with other people at the table. Unfortunately, there were a few folks smoking more than hookah at a nearby table.
I would like to visit again for lunch or dinner to try...
Read moreDate: November 2024 Service: 5/5 Prices: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 I like the set up here of the bowling alley out front with the lounge in the back.
Both times I was offered something for free. On Monday it was bowling and on Sunday it was hookah and drinks.
Taste/Textures:3.5/5 I deducted points because on Monday the catfish sides (greens and mac) were a little too salt forward for me.
On Sunday around 3 PM I couldn’t even order food because they said the kitchen was backed up.
Value: 5/5
I attended this restaurant twice in one week. I was visiting for work and tried out some food on Monday and then came in for Sunday brunch.
Monday I paid $35 for a hookah and maybe $30 for a fish meal and $5 shot.
Sunday they stuck to their word, and I received a complimentary welcome shot, good vibes, and a complementary hookah.
Music was also a great both times. The playlist on Monday and the...
