On 4/19/2024 CSU all scanners were down and computers were down as well. As I’m trying to enter for a concert that I paid for, a worker decides my tickets were not valid even though the one scanner they just got to come back online had scanned and accepted our tickets. She then all but pushes me and snatches my son’s ticket out of his had stating they can’t use paper tickets. I then pull up the mobile ticket (all while she almost hits me in the face being rude to someone else) we scan then again (mind you they were already scanned) and tells me they were not valid. I go to the box office where there computers are down and she proceeds to tell me that she can’t locate them on the website (how are you on a website when you are literally having to log back into the computer) I tell her that they would show scanned already because the door already scanned them. She then tells me that doesn’t mean anything that it doesn't Matter. Proceeds to tell me that ticket master sold them to two different people and for the 3rd time I told her that is not who I purchased them through. She then states “oh well there still not valid. I then ask her for a letter stating this so I can get my money back from the ticket broker and she. Then says she can’t do that I’ll have to wait until Monday. So on Monday 4/22/2024 when I call someone better get me this letter or I will go to the media and a lawyer. Not only did I not get to enter for a concert I paid for , this lady (wish I would have got her name) was so mean and rude (we were not the only ones that she was telling our tickets weren’t valid there was a entire room full of people) but I’m now out $1,000 and they refuse to give me what’s required to get...
Read moreOne of the worse venue experiences we have ever had. Please be aware if you need to purchase ADA seats! We purchased seats for an event for our father as a gift, however he needs the ADA accessible seats since he is physically disabled. We bought the ADA seat along with 2 companion seats. We were seats 1-3 in the ADA section. We have done this at multiple arenas and never had an issue until coming to the Wolstein Center. When going to our seats the “ushers” tried to make us move seats rather than sitting in the companion seats. They even were asking other patrons to give up their seats for us in normal seating sections! They did not even check the tickets of other people in the ADA section. This turned into an almost 30 minute ordeal of going back and forth with the ushers who tried telling us we did not purchase ADA seats even thought the tickets said so. They tried saying row P is not ADA seating. So finally we went to guest services. The gentlemen who helped us there were very polite. Immediately he said those are the correct tickets for ADA seating. He called a supervisor who was able to properly seat us. That’s why I give 2 stars instead of 1. But this situation could have been avoided if the ushers or workers properly knew how to do their job. They then just stood around behind us the entire show leaning into our section. There was absolutely no seat control or monitoring. Terrible customer service from those workers. We will not be returning to this venue because it was such a hassle to be seated and was completely unfair since we purchased actually ADA seats. We did not pay to go and be belittled by workers or told we can not sit...
Read moreMy family purchased upcoming Tyrese tickets for me at $95. They were told that these were the best available tickets. I looked at seating to see where my seat was, and I see that there are entire rows of seats available 9 rows ahead of mine in both sections and 11 seats closer to the center stage. I called and was told that no refunds or exchanges. They told me that ibcan go on these off sites to try to sell my tickets. That's the best they can do for me? My family thought they were purchasing the best tickets at the highest price nearly 2 months ahead of time. Now, someone coming a couple days before will have tremendously better seats. I guess seats are held until they are released by the promoter, but why wouldnt people who were told they had the best seating, not be given an opportunity to exchange the tickets for these amazing ones? I think that they just want to lure people in at the last minute so they will keep these tickets for them. I feel cheated and defrauded. I don't think that this a fair practice and I will be filing an Attorney General complaint, and hopefully a class action. This pattern of behavior...
