Mad Chicken — Restaurant in Cleveland

As a person who is about fully enjoying an experience I'll say a few things here. I didn't smell the food and a big part of if I really like a place is if I can smell the food cooking 🤔 I didn't smell anything even when our food was made. I got the Mac bowl and it was good for the 11 dollars spent the (mac was creamy noodles cooked perfectly and the chicken was well cooked and even without sauce is actually good so they didn't lie about seasoning their chicken thats for sure). The guys who run the place are respectful and when I said the soda machine was out of a certain drink he not only offered me a drink from the fridge to replace it but even put more drink back in the machine so service and professionalism is great here.(atmosphere gets a three from me personally because like I said I couldn't smell the food that is also a key element from 10/10 places for me currently they are at a 81/2 out of 10...

I went today to try it out and was disappointed with my first experience. I went for lunch with a friend, and we waited 30 min for our lunch to come out with hardly anyone in the store. I understand if they are slammed, but that did not appear to be the case. The bowl I got was good, and the sauce options were on point. The sides tasted frozen to me vs freshly prepared, and the pickle chips did not come with a dipping sause. If I go back, I will attempt to order ahead to avoid the wait time and skipping the sides. If you get a soda, they limit you to one refill, disappointing because I was waiting so long for the meal. I hope this was an off day for them and more of an exception experience compared to others, but unfortunately, I would not recommend anyone looking for a lunch spot who is on a timeline. Very cool atmosphere, service is great, and the food is even better! I literally seen a commercial on YouTube, and wanted to try it! IT WILL NOW BE MY GO TO FOR DINNER ON THE ROAD! The first bowl i had was the chicken and rice with the parmesean garlic sauce, it was phenomenal! The chicken is crispy while still being tender inside, the rice is great, with an overall healthy sizable portion for 9.99! And the best part is this: unlike most bowls that had food thrown in with meat on top, their bowls are truly layered, with the flavor not disappearing as you get to the end, there were well portioned slices of chicken all through my bowl! I tried the fries which were great also! Thank you nad chicken! You definitely just pulled in a forever customer! I cant wait to try the next bowl, which will be the mac n cheese...
