Worst experience I’ve ever had with customer service! Ironic how every bad review has to do with the GM and her unpleasant attitude! She’s extremely rude, I placed an online order and it was never picked up due to it being sent to the wrong location, it was never prepared either…. But it wouldn’t allow me to cancel it!! I got all the way to the location nearest my job just to find out it was sent to this location— I called up and spoke with another manager whom was very polite and told me she would fix it for me tomorrow after my shift due me me not being able to make it because I was reporting for a 12 hour shift as a healthcare provider— pregnant also! I thanked her and told her I would be up in the morning upon my arrival I was greeting by this lady whom the reviews all seem to have unfortunately encountered! Who told me because I forgot the ladies name that I was a liar and she wouldn’t be refunding my meal or cash because McDonalds doesn’t do refunds… despite them not allowing me to cancel order that was still not prepared or ready yesterday 15 minutes after I placed it! So you took my money, won’t allow me to cancel my order, and I’m out of food? Not at all that’s illegal if I paid for a service i WILL receive it or I WILL get my money back! If you’re so miserable in this position which I can see that you are judging by the boatload of reviews all geared towards dissatisfactory by the way of YOU then perhaps it’s time to turn in your McDonalds hat! I will be contacting corporate I can promise you that much and assuring that actions are taken please believe that! You probably work for a little over the amount I paid for my meal!! To tell me I’m out of my money because a issue that happened with your app is unacceptable, the same way you slave over that food for your wage is the same way I work for mines! You don’t even own McDonald’s let alone have any pull to be speaking to someone in that manner… to make matters worse another employee apologized and she verbally attacked that lady for apologizing to me and trying to figure out what happened! Miserable! I pray you find joy in life so that every path you cross you aren’t making it a hell of an experience for the person encountering you…. Or maybe devote yourself at your big age to finding another career since this one is clearly not...
Read moreThey did a slight refresh to the back of the store the last couple years. There's now limited counter area but probably because of kiosk and mobile ordering. However, this does not seem to have sped them up. In fact, they might be slower. The kitchen now has an obstructed view of the front counter, and they don't keep someone at the front counter regularly in my experience. The drive-thru still runs slow as molasses. Staff still seems friendly, but it seems like they are short-staffed. Short-staffed. If they aren't short-staffed then they haven't been trained well. The dining room has a sort of cold atmosphere. It's noisy, not very inviting. I actually think this could be a great meeting place, a perfect stop for neighbors and those coming in to downtown in the morning. But it's just none of those things. They even took away the drink station. That actually helps keep the place a little bit nicer since they really struggled to keep it clean. But a better solution would have been watching the store more carefully to keep it stocked up and clean and to minimize abuse. McDonald's should consider putting in a ghost kitchen at the Carnegie food hub or down in steelyard Commons to run delivery orders and refocus on in-person guests at this location and probably some of the others in town. If it takes you 15 or 20 minutes like it did for me today to order and receive a medium black coffee, something is wrong. Once I ordered a coffee, and they knew it was only coffee, they should have been able to pour that out and get it in my hand in less than a minute, 90 seconds max. I still waited way too long to have to order, but waiting to have that order fulfilled is...
Read moreWorst McDonalds I've Ever Experienced.. I work in Many Towns and States on East Coast.. Ive came to this McDonald's Twice in past month. The first time-I went through Drive thu at 7:05am said were short staff and won't be taking orders until 8am..ok so I did some paper work and waited.. 8:05am. I get "What" at the speaker.. Im like large coffee 10 cream and... INTERRUPTED.... Sir. She Said, We don't have Enough staff and we will not be serving coffee drinks.. So I'm like hold up... I just waiting for your lazy self 1hour to make coffee and you want to tell me that.. So I left.
Today.. Sitting in long as Drive Thru... Get to the outside lane ordering speaker.. I get "Hold Up"!!! I'm sitting and steady see cars on the inner lane order and go,, next car.. So lucky the person behind me sees what's going on and backs up and gives me room to back up to reset the bell.. Nope.. Nothing.. So I drive to 1st window.. Says next window please.. Lady come to Window and starts to hand me someone else's order.. And I told her I was getting ignored on speaker can I just get a coffee and blueberry muffin.. She says, no I can not take your order... I need to drive back around.. And by then.the line is long and I tell her this is bad service.. I get window slammed and I believe a Fuc* Y#u.. I haven't had my Coffee yet so if my spelling sucks blame it on this...
