Red Walters Bar-B-Que — Restaurant in Cleveland

Service was bad from the beginning...the man on the phone that took my order was very rude he was rushing me off the phone, music was blasting and he was talking to his background.. It gets worst..when I got there to pick up...the lady up ftont.. So was very rude..she never spoke..she never said may i help you...so i spoke...she growled...I said Im here to pick up an order for...I gave her my name and told her..what my order was....she repeated what I said...never looking at me...so she got my order..which was sittting...as she was reaching for a plastic bag someone walks in...and yells I need to buy 2 of thoses bus passes...he said something and pulled the passes out of his pocket. Next thing I know she walking down to the other end of the counter, grabs her purse..and proceeds to get her bus passes...im standing there like really....you are kidding me. At that point I was ready to just walk out of their..(but I was hungry) that was my dinner😀 She took care of her personal business then came back to me. She put my food in the bag. Still talking to the man that sold her the bus passes.. So by this time im heated smoke coming out of my whole body...so i have her my money because she never to me what I owed..she took the money, counted it and slid my food to me..still talking to the man..I got my food...and before I walked away..I said by the was Thank you enjoy your evening....she said oh thank you have a good day. As if that weren't bad enough.when i got to my car tasted the food.....the fish was greasy...I did not touch the fries because I asked for onion rings ..the fish did not have any seasoning on it.. I feel like i wasted $13 on my dinner. This was my first time going to this place in years..and you best...

I give up on red Walters. The consistency of the food is never maintained. My order is wrong every time I go due to incompetence and lack of education. I never get what I order. I ordered a plain, bone-in catfish sandwich. They gave me a plain sandwich but they made it extra plain. I guess to them plain meant no salt in the cornmeal coating. How do you deduce that plain means no salt in the cornmeal????????? Plain means no coleslaw, no ketchup, no mustard, no tartar sauce, and no hot sauce. I have to fight every time to get my order. I always order food from red Walters with an anxiety. They are just not reliable in fulfilling orders. So, I can’t go there anymore. I live too far away from them to order food and have it be wrong and then have to wait for them to remake the order. I live too far away to place my order when I get there, so I call it in...............or try to. Sometimes you can’t get through. I’ve lost so much money ordering from here from incorrect orders. I live too far away and am too busy to come back the next day for them to remake my order. If you’re going to order food from here just know it does not taste the same under this new management and most likely your order will be wrong. Also, they fry the wings practically in the waiting area so the area is full of smoke. I had to wait outside at some point in time because I couldn’t breathe good from smoke inhalation. I’m done. ORDER AT YOUR OWN...

I do not enjoy slandering ANY black business and I went in understanding Butchee not there no more but Oh My Lord! Where to start? Service was pleasant but slow, chicken & fries had a burnt greasy taste and smell, fries super skinny, fish sandwich was meh.. ok i guess, chicken isnt battered anymore just floured and the sauce was dark/sweet like Sweet Baby Rays maybe? So my question is simply this: if your food is not the same as the previous ppl, then why call yourself Red Walters? Why? Its totally misleading! Then you turn around and add a 2nd location with you guessed it... the SAME NAME!!! Bruuuuh Nooooo! We grew up on Red Walters! Baby... this ain't it! Oh Noo.. I'm Sorry!😒😒Whoever own these need a...
