My daughter and I spent 3 nights in the M30 unit after she had Scoliosis corrective surgery. Our first night was awful!!! The night nurse was not personable with my daughter nor myself. She had long straight blonde hair and very young. Mind you this was the night of the same day of her procedure. She’d come in do her job of checking vitals and giving meds. That’s all she was good for! Although I asked many times for her to close the door and turn off bathroom light when leaving, she didn’t. I had to keep getting up to do so despite trying to rest. The info the nurses gave was very inconsistent. Allison gave me the wrong discharge info to care for my daughter’s incision sight. I was told to give her the Oxycodone consistently regardless if she wasn’t in great pain. As a mother, I didn’t feel comfortable with her being on this but I knew this was major surgery. Had to call Dr. Gurd’s nurse, who is AWESOME and CARING, to get the correct information. My daughter started to get severe headaches while we were still there yesterday. All Allison said it was from walking. We had a 75 minute drive home yesterday and I was concerned. Sure enough, 15 min into the drive, she had severe pain to the point where she felt like her eyes were crossing when she closed her eyes. I called the on call pediatric ortho. He said it was from the spinal fluid moving around and to keep her lying flat at home unless she had to use the bathroom. I always heard The Cleveland Clinic is top notch and #1 in the country. Dr Gurd is definitely top notch!!!!!! This nursing staff...

I recently had to visit Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital due to a rather unexpected and sensitive issue—erectile dysfunction at a very young age. From the moment I walked in, the staff at Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital made me feel comfortable and respected. The reception team was professional and efficient, ensuring my check-in process was smooth and discreet.
The medical professionals I encountered were knowledgeable and empathetic. They took the time to explain my condition and the available treatment options in a clear and understandable manner. I never felt rushed or judged, which was incredibly reassuring given the nature of my visit.
The facilities were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment during my stay. The follow-up care and support have also been excellent, with the hospital providing resources and advice to help manage my condition effectively.
Overall, despite the personal and sensitive nature of my visit, Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital provided exemplary care and support. I am grateful for their professionalism...
Read moreWe wish to express our profound gratitude for the outstanding care our daughter received at Cleveland Clinic Children's. We initially came specifically to see Dr. Peter Anderson, who, along with his dedicated team including Shauna and others, provided exceptional guidance. Following his recommendation, Dr. Violette Recinos and her team performed her brain surgery to remove our daughters cancer, with every aspect of the process being exemplary. Every person , PA, anesthesiologists, RNs etc.. everyone we were in contact with, was a true professional of their field.
The professionalism, compassion, and expertise displayed by both teams were truly remarkable. We are immensely grateful to have been under your care and feel fortunate to have had such skilled professionals looking after our daughter. Sasha enjoyed the care of every single nurse and staff member. You all are just exceptional!
We have been to top hospitals in the US and we understand why people travel from all over the world to be at the Cleveland Clinic. Thank you from the bottom of our heart!...
