Passed by the store and saw their sign that said “$27.99 for 15 tacos”. Wanting to eat here and try out the restaurant, we walked here and were glad we did. We ordered the Taquiza Mixta, which was a mixed platter of tacos. We were able to choose from 3 tacos at the time. I think they were out of chorizo and 1 other, which I don’t remember. Anyways, we ordered 10 chicken, 3 beef, and 2 al pastor. Wow! It was a meal for 3-4 people. We knew it would be a lot and planned to take the leftovers home. Came out fresh and accompanied by a side of rice and black beans. Tacos were great. Meats were seasoned nicely and had generous portions in each taco. We will return. Nice to find another good restaurant in the neighborhood.

We came for Taco Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised by coming here. Filled with colors and menu varieties, Taco Tuesday was just the beginning of choices we had for the night. Dined in, food was fresh, staff was friendly. El Primo Bagel and Tacqueria wasn't busy for a Tuesday, I think the establishment is still fairly recent on opening. Plenty of seating inside. I had a tasty Chicken quesadilla. Park along the side streets in Cliffside Park, or park further and walk here. All payments accepted. There are some deals displayed on the windows - check it out when yiu can!

We recently dined at El Primo Bage & Taqueria and had a fantastic experience. We ordered the Philly Cheeseburger with fries, and it did not disappoint. The portions were generous, and the flavors were spot on. The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable, making it a great value for the quality and quantity of food. We highly recommend El Primo Bage & Taqueria for anyone looking for delicious Mexican American cuisine!

Thursday March 13 2025 Just ordered off of Uber eats today cause I woke up hungry and didn’t feel like cooking and I’m kinda tired of ordering from the same place and wanted to try something different I saw this place was a little skeptical about cause I was like oh another Mexican American restaurant and when I saw the options they had I was like Ight like give it a try ….. BROOOO let me tell I got a Carne enchilada burrito and a torta de milenesa de pollo …. Let me tell you that burrito was perfect not to big stuffed well and great flavor and the torta SO MUCH CHICKEN I was like dam I’m eating a big o breakfast today chicken was juicy with great flavor and FINALLY SOMEONE who uses black beans instead of pinto fell in love right away but what caught me off guard the most was the salsas both red and green. Usually the salsa are mediocre or they just don’t hit that spicy kick I want . But who ever makes the salsa here are pros. Add the green salsa to the burrito and was like dam this is good as hell and then I was like let me try the red and WHEN I TELL YOU I WAS SWEATING I WAS SWEATY el que lo hico estaba enojado if you know you know what I mean by that but I sweaty running nose todo bro but I couldn’t spot eating it but the red salsa on everything. If your spice tolerance ain’t high eat with caution All in all food was amazing and now I have to go visit and try the rest of the menu with my family cause this was a gold mine for me Please don’t change Ever Thank you for your hard work and dedication Will...

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. The service is terrible. I ordered a steak platter and tacos. The server couldn't understand me (she didn't understand me pointing to the exact menu item either I guess) and added a burrito that I never ordered. When I noticed the charge on my card was unusually high for the amount (which was immediately), she tried to tell me I ordered wrong (I pointed to the exact items on the paper menu by the register) and refused to refund me for the burrito SHE added on. I literally just tapped my card and was told, "I already charged your card, there's nothing I can do. Your only option is to take the extra item". Disgusting service, purposely overcharged me for something I never ordered, and refused to give me my money back, even though they didn't even begin to cook the food yet. I also had to wait over 30 minutes for my two items + the bonus burrito I was forced to pay for, although there were only 2 other customers (who were already finished with their meals). On top of the terrible service and the overcharge, the food was bland. If you're going to overcharge someone for an item and refuse to refund them, at least the food could taste good. There are so many incredible local businesses in the neighborhood to support and choose from. I hope they're happy with the $13 extra they got from me, but because of the horrible service, I...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem That Deserves More Love!

I honestly don’t understand how this place doesn’t have better reviews—every time I come here or order from them, the food is always fresh and delicious, and the service is consistently warm and attentive. This restaurant has quickly become one of my favourites!

As someone who has been to Mexico many times and has tried countless Mexican restaurants, I can confidently say this spot offers truly authentic flavours with a lovely local charm. From the classics to creative options, the menu is full of variety, and even picky eaters (including kids!) will find something they enjoy. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, the quality is top-tier.

I especially appreciate how family-friendly and welcoming the atmosphere is. The staff genuinely care and it shows—they make you feel right at home. It’s refreshing to have a locally owned Mexican restaurant that’s both consistent and full of heart.

To the owners and team: I wish you continued success and prosperity. You deserve it. Thank you for bringing such flavour and warmth to...
